That's because in those other fics, the new husband typically isn't Nurse :). Usually they're pairing off Meiko with Some Random Guy as a way to manufacture drama Really? Cause I can't really remember any stories where Meiko got into a relationship and it WASN'T nurse... Meiko X Nurse is so heavily...

Kyou can have any number of meanings depending on the kanji used, ranging from "today" over "border", "misfortune" and "mirror" to "cooperation" not sure how common using either of those for names would be. Fujibayashi Kyou (藤林杏) from Clannad uses the kanji for "apricot" Ketsuke sounds more like a g...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Meeting Resumed 01 June 2015)
I don't know what surprises me most: that that's been done, that that's been done multiple times, or that that's been done by legitimate posters. I... I still kinda wanna try it... For the record, only the first line of my post referred to vampires specifically; the rest was about supernatural elem...

This is Emi, herself, recognizing that right here, right now, she's doing something that, in the past, she was never able to do. I hope I've shown over the course of the story the progression that got her here -- and if you don't think I have, then that's cool -- but in this case the fact that this...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Meeting Resumed 01 June 2015)
I think the last fic that included a vampire was one of the very few with the dubious honour of being shut down by SC... That said I'm not too fond of the premise (of including supernatural elements) as well, though I'm guilty of writing one myself… The main motivation back then was to see if it was...

Re: Developments (Post-Lilly Neutral End) - Ch.59 posted 6/1
Well, "a few chapters" is relative if they are all as long as this one :-) Excellent writing as always. Just in the scene between Emi and Meiko I felt that Emi's self-reflection was a bit too deep, too "not Emi"… And in the next scene I would not have expected her to have the patience to wait for Me...

Re: The Benefit of Hindsight (updated 5/31!)
Don't worry, the limitation seems to be more [lines/page] than [lines/post], so as long as there are a few comments in between the chapters you'll get away with much larger posts. The only threads that broke the forum so far were those where the author posted half a dozen long chapters at once . Tha...

Re: The Benefit of Hindsight (updated 5/31!)
I'd say at their current length your chapters are not in any danger of crashing the boards
Hmm. Introducing 18 characters in a single chapter is... bold. I hope you don't expect us to remember them all by the next chapter - or we need a "classroom" picture as a mental crutch^^°

Don't be. Nobody will ever like everything you write, and in this case it's just my personal preference which is not your fault at all.I-I'm sorry... o_o

Re: Firing Blanks - (Updated 5/20) Basically just Shizune/Ha
WALL OF TEXT, ROUND THREE, FIGHT! See? Now you're getting the hang of what a WoT is supposed to be like. However, the biggest moment is during the scene (IIRC) Morning Reverie, when Lilly gets knocked over by Kenji. She gets way more irritated than she has any real right to be for something like th...

Re: Puppet Show [OC Story] Act 2 Update! 31/05
Somehow I missed Tuesday's update, so here is the commentary for both: Okay, so that's the standard leg. And that's... The running blade? What the hell? I don't think running blades are something every amputee gets in addition to a regular prosthetic. Besides most of them having little ambition to g...

Did you make this on the fly or do you keep it handy for such situations?
Suggestion for an addition:
Pay two red mana: Wall of Text loses Defender and gains Intimidate until end of turn.
