Re: Learning To Fly - A Saki pseudo-route (Updated 6/17)
Well, to me at least reading a diary is WAY more private than looking something up on wikipedia, but maybe I'm just strange that way ^^° There are plenty of perfectly good reasons to want to know about a friend's condition - nures mentioned that buddy-system in this very chapter - and the most surpr...

Isn't that one more reason to look it up instead of asking her about it directly?Either way, it looks like she wants space, not questions.

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Meeting/Hisao Final Week Approach)
So, we have TheHivemind's noir style parody fic. Oh, I completely missed brythain announcing this. Rereading the thing brings back fond memories and makes me a bit nostalgic when I see all the old forumites who aren't here anymore. Also it's quite interesting to read it now - post-release - because...

I'm not sure what is so bad about looking up her condition...
She told him about it herself, so wouldn't it be the natural thing to do to look it up the next time you get access to the internet?

Hehe, nice ideas - I'd be interested in how this Emi would have worked out, but your reasoning for not using it in this story is valid.

Re: The Benefit of Hindsight (updated 6/17!)
“It reminds me of Scotland and my family,” she says, without missing a beat. I feel silly for a moment. Of course. This made me wonder if people really drink that much more tea in Scotland than in Japan... Apparently they do , though there is no number for just Scotland - just the UK. I was surpris...

Re: Minor detail about Rin's route that I don't get...
Well, TVtropes is not my go-to sight for insightful interpretations of literature... Generally you shouldn't think of any single line in the choice menu of a VN as THE line that changes how the characters feel about life, the universe and everything. It's relatively easy if a line directly influence...

Well, the two options are: #"But aren't you happy people are interested in your paintings?" and #"But if you found someone like that, then what?" The main difference between the two options here is that in the first one Hisao shows that he doesn't understand Rin's feelings at all. He still thinks th...

Re: The Human Cyborg [OC]
Well... Linguistically it's more or less okay, but to be honest the rest of it is pretty awful. Most of the problems are internal consistency/plausibility. There are half a dozen places in this short piece where I had to stop short and take time to process what was happening, and in most cases I had...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Meeting/Hisao Final Week Approach)
Hmmm... A truly Hisao-centric Fic... Of the suggestions so far I think I would go with Fardel's - maybe incorporating something of Leaty's A, C or D. Set after his time at Yamaku - either after one of the bad ends or after a time at Yamaku devoid of any meaningful relationships - with a female OC wi...

Re: Phantom Pains (Alternate Reality) [Updated 11/6/15]
"So, those prostethetics of yours... how long have you been using them?" Emi smiles, happy to have had the subject changed. "Four years now. Minor nitpick: Emi lost her legs eight years ago, though she could of course have gotten those particular prosthetics later. Nor much to say about this chapte...

Re: Tips for fanfiction writers (that means YOU)
There is no "official" location. There is one post by cpl_crud that says that when he is thinking of Yamaku, he imagines Sendai castle and that a lot of the visual descriptions were inspired by that area - not that Yamaku canonically stands in the location of Sendai castle. There are multiple places...

Well, if the plaque was placed in 2007 she was still named Tezuka. She got married. There was a boy. a blind boy. In the art club. See Chapter Eight of Master Detectives.
No big deal either way.

Her name is Tezuka.[School Festival Mural, 2007, Rin Nomura]
pastwith brown hair a bit passed her shoulders,
Short chapter by your standards, but I'm not complaining
Carry on.

Re: Saki meets Rika
Fun little story. In the beginning I was a bit confused by there being two point of view characters at the same time, but it got better towards the end. Saki being obsessed with fashion seems to be a trope that she can't shake... One more typo: To pass the time she watched a particularity large inse...
