Re: Neko Emi~

Fullmetal Cat, anyone?

Interesting. I wonder how soon we'll see tech more like this on humans... What with the bone and skin growing onto the metal.

Thai people creep me out. :|

I am part Thai and the Thai side of the family scares me. They hug a lot and always want to talk to me. But they used to like to try to buy my love with money, so that's alright.

Re: How tall is Hisao ?

I know Extremist_Line is really tall (know him irl), though I don't remember the exact height (6'4"?).

What's up with all the tall people? Where have you been hiding the tall juice? I'd like to grow about an inch taller.

Re: Misha's disabillity?

Misha's disability is she's fat. I mean, there's that one fat guy in the classroom CG, so that must be it!

Re: KS on the Super Nintendo

Awesome, so we really might get Katawa Shoujo on the Nintendo 3DS. With that space technology and an improved physics engine, be prepared for the 'boing' of two round things popping out! That's right, your eyes shooting out from the awesomeness!

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team

I've only completed one Folding@Home unit before... I guess when my PS3 ships here I'll start doing it more, I'll support yer, KS. When the fan kicks in, though, it spooks me. As long as I keep it in a well ventilated area, it'll be alright, right? Also, this talk of the PS3 makes me more excited fo...

I think it fits, one reason because I'd expect she's trying to be normal.

Re: Pronunciation of names?

PS Anyone that says "Shi-zune" is a blemish on society. Agreed. But do they have something like commercials with people with an obvious foreign accent to make fun of them? This is going to be horribly described, but what about something like how some people here like to pretend to be a karate-train...

Re: Pronunciation of names?

It's interesting how languages share similar aspects, maybe a bit more than one might expect. It reminds me of dragons, how most cultures have them in some form even before they had contact with each other. Also, bow and arrows. How did all these different peoples come up with this without trading t...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Panel at the Manifest Anime Convention

Without knowing what they look like, or without any hairs 'n stuff? :P I'm sure a person crazy enough to make voodoo dolls is crazy enough to go to this Anime con and take a few pictures and cut off a few strands of hair... Or at least they'd be willing to hire someone to do it! Anyone going willin...

Re: Pronunciation of names?

Great example :) Everyone here understands anime isn't "an-eye-m" or "aneem," and Shizune not only rhymes but the number and stress of the syllables is the same too. I had a friend that would say 'ahn-ee-mee'. But that was 5 or so years ago. I wonder how hard the Japanese work on English pronunciat...

Re: Pronunciation of names?

It actually does use Latin pronunciation, which made learning Japanese very easy for me since my high school offered Latin. :P Great. I've taken three years of Latin but my teacher never ever taught us the pronunciation (partially because no one really speaks it anymore, partially because the class...

Re: Experiment: Giving characters alternative disabilities

I wonder if Misha would still by hyperactive and happy even if she lost her legs and arms. I could see her running around on four stubs and biting someone's ankle on Shizune's command, though.
