Re: KS: The Fighting Game
Sounds cool; I don't know that I could stomache making a full soundtrack, but I think it'd be fun to contribute three or four individual tracks :) I totally have a Guilty Gear-style rendition of Hanako's theme running in my head, but I lack any means of putting it into a sharable medium. :( Anyone ...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
It helps people/advances reasearch, it's a really cool idea as far as computing goes, and it takes practically no effort at all on my part. If I'm leaving my computer idling anyway, I try to run it.cemex wrote:Hey guys, I've got a question: what are your reasons for joining this project?

Re: Is katawa Shoujo the gateway drug of visual novels?
Most recently I went through Umineko no naku koro ni. Loved every bit that's released so far. My brother's actually gone and bought Higurashi, so I'll have to try that one later. (didn't care for Higurashi anime, Umineko anime after playing the VN was pretty decent, but I wouldn't have liked it if ...

she mentions something like "Now I am going to crawl into the fetal position, throw up a little, and then I will think about something". This is not how mentally healthy people deal with stress. At all. If taken literally, no. However, you've seriously never once said "oh crap someon...

Re: Is katawa Shoujo the gateway drug of visual novels?
My first VN was Ever 17 - a friend at college had an actual copy of the game, so he tossed it my way saying it was good. I knew about eroge, but since Ever 17 was "clean" I tried it out. It still took me a long time to actually get around to playing through the routes, but the final route ...

Re: V1/2 Music VS V3 Music discussion
I don't like the new version for kenji's theme. It hurts my ears. I love kenji's parts because he is a funny character but there is a problem when his music is painful to listen to. And I mean that literally. Shizune's them is ok but it's too quiet. ... which song is nurse's theme again? a e i o u

Really don't like Nurse's new theme. :\
Actually, I don't like a lot of the synthesized instruments, either. Especially that bass prevalent in the Nurse and Kenji themes... >.<

Re: Katawa Shoujo fightan game
Really liked the ideas you have here. Lilly and Hanako are especially clever. I'd like to see what kicks you dig up for Rin too. Definitely Misha specials, but I'm not sure how Shizune will play. I'm not a big fan of puppets, and a tag-team might be a lot of work to sprite. Was there speculation of...

This is the single thing I look forward to most about the game.G3n0c1de wrote: I expect Hisao will come to terms with his condition in each path slightly differently, thanks in large part to whichever girl he is persuing.

Love the most recent Shizune - looks like it could be a real Japanese girl/young woman.

Re: Misha's disabillity?
So I don't think this has been brought up yet... maybe Misha's disability is the inability to have children? As in, for whatever reason, she is barren? I don't know about Japan, but in America this is legally considered a disability. Depending on the cause for it, maybe Misha has internal conditions...

Re: DVD cover
I'd love to see a fan-made "special edition" of KS that comes in a nice box and CD/DVD when the full version is released. I know the devs don't take donations and encourage donating to charity instead, so what about using special boxed editions as a fund raiser with proceeds going to said ...
