I had to go with Rin.

I liked her, but I felt like I had no idea she wanted from me, and vice-versa. I had no idea what I was doing, or what I should do.

I played Rin's route first (I'm a Rin fan), but like a lot of people, I had no idea if I was going the right way or not. However, since I'm a computer programmer (pretty much the opposite of Rin's personality), I went through the entire story methodically, saving a new save for every decision point ...

They have no excuse; Act 1 has been available in Japanese for quite a while now, and the attitude of the finished game is obvious from it.
