Lies.
Complete lies.

>_>
<_<

Still, there are tons of great English voice actors. It's just that most of 'em do bigscreen movies and such, not cartoons.

Re: Voices of the girls as you imagine them

Seeing as how KS is an OELVN and I wouldn't want to hear some terrible Engrish here, shouldn't these be English VAs you're listing?

I figured it was hooked onto the first button on her dress. Which is rather silly, but the only way I can see it happening...

Gen still continues to confuse "strong and determined" with "hypocritical and bitchy" I see.

Re: What exactly are we making here?

Without personally getting too much into this discussion that is growing increasingly meta and thus increasingly less useful, I should just remind people that many VNs don't have choices at all . An example with which many people in this forum are familiar is Narcissu. This invalidates some of the V...

Re: What exactly are we making here?

You took that out of context. Nevertheless, this is a game, not a novel. As the player, you will be able to unravel the mystery surrounding the events in the game as the scenarios unfold. Actually...this tangent brings up a genuinely important point. The purpose of that statement is to imply that yo...

Re: What exactly are we making here?

Katawa Shoujo: In which people rant about the stagnation of the VN medium and/or its sad state as a hybrid medium also I think skill defines a game...there is no skill in VNs 1) lol @ so many games, but more relevantly, 2) tell that to all the people who have to use walkthroughs to get the KS girls ...

That is what he said. He just typed an accidental "t" at the end of "is".

Re: A few questions.

*shrug* I guess my reading is somewhat like skimming (I kinda read multiple lines simultaneously), but I get every word in the end, so it doesn't affect my comprehension. (This is why VNs and the like are slower for me to read, since I don't have access to the whole text at once and thus can't read ...

Re: What about a Katawa Shoujo role play forum ?

That would be a freeform roleplay. It's still a type of roleplay. There is no need for a separate subforum to handle these; there have been several RP threads here of varying levels of stat-intensiveness, and there isn't nearly enough interest to justify a subforum solely for RPing anyway.

Re: A few questions.

According to the site, 1472 at 100% comprehension. But the comprehension test on that site is bullshit anyway, since you can get all of the questions right without reading a thing. The answers are dead obvious. It's pretty silly. Anyway I mean, after a few tries I could get 739 which would be 13 hou...

Re: A few questions.

Well, I used this and did the math Oh great, 6 hours, thanks a lot. I officially hate that website. D: But there's no way that's accurate for reading a VN, since clicking through text is much slower than reading a pile of text that's already there. You should probably triple whatever time you get f...

Re: 24

The degree of activity is less surprising than the sheer duration. You guys spend a not-insignificant chunk of your time on this each day, assuming this is a somewhat typical day or even somewhat above average. I mean, we kinda expect that, but considering you aren't making any money on this, dayumn...
