Liked them both. I think they would be best combined though. The light dress and the dark ribbons.

For whatever it's worth I very much enjoyed it. I don't quite get the title... but I did enjoy the story. I think you captured Hanako's personality rather well, not that I know anything other than what's in act 1. Ah well...Good job though.
