Re: Your response to this?
Well, I pronounce nuclear with only two sylables. If you pronounce it as "new clear" (which I don't think you do), then yes, that would be two syllables - and would also be wrong. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/nuclear You might not hear the difference, but it's there. And, if you actually ...

Re: Your response to this?
[hahy-puh-thur-mee-uh] Yeah, it really depends on how you pronounce the word. Just like the word "nuclear". [nu-kleer] or [nu-kyu-lar] There are so many dialects and accents for the English language that there's no longer any real authority on the language. No, unless you think that people actually...

Re: Would you date a girl/guy with a physical disability?
Ok, you can't handle the retarded. How about Asperger's? That's a nice middle ground. I for one find their conversations to be amusing. Being a computer science major I've had classes with two different aspies. CS majors are naturally perceived to comprise the most socially inept of college student...

Re: Would you date a girl/guy with a physical disability?
Not really into amputees, while something like blindness or deafness would make things difficult and complicated. I'm fairly shallow, though, so it goes both ways if the girl is cute. Hell, even disregarding disabilities, I wouldn't even consider going out with a girl if I didn't find her physically...

Re: Fun with Photoshop
Something clicked when I associated Emi with racing stripes, so I went on one of my Photoshop sprees and made flags for most of the characters. Yes, flags. Total time taken: Longer than it looks. Emi: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v195/corporal_esche/th_ks-emi-flag.png Racing stripes, like I sai...

Re: About the full release
My suggestion was very simple in concept: 1. Incorporate an option to mark all Act 1 text as "read," I smell a thread lock coming. If Act 1 in the final release were guaranteed to be identical to the finished full release I might be able to see your point of view, but I think the writers/devs are e...

Re: About the full release
seeing as playing "Act 1" assigns values to variables that are critical to later game play the only way to do this would be to incorporate a system that lets the player manually change those values it could take a month or longer after the final version of the game is finished to actually incorpora...
