I believe they're referring to the fact that it won't be released on CD/DVD. As in, it won't be transferred (rather than "transformed") into physical medium. Makes sense. When I realized Act 1 is a lot shorter than I remember I came to really like the Kenji scenes, since I didn't feel like I was in a rush to get through a story of epic scale.

Even disregarding her potential physical needs, she isn't mentally ready to go into the "outside world" where she will be stared at.
