Re: Gambits
Nit picking here, but your characterization of Hisao is showing someone with an inordinate ammount of perception, empathy and insight; far beyond what my experience tells me an 18 year old male can contain. Unless of course, Hisao is not a human 18 year old male but an alien from the planet Metrosex...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
One week or so, but I'm not bothered by my lack of presence on the teampage - the logfile says that there's trouble moving work. Hmm, I was able to get WU's from F@h website to run today. Nothing completed yet except for the stuff done on my PS3. Guess if I run into problems when they are ready to ...

Re: KS Act 1 runs on a 4th operating system: ReactOS!
overstated I know and I'm not interested in an OS war OS wars are only fun when you're talking about computers from the 80's. These Windows vs. Mac vs. Unix-like fights are so boring compared to C=64 vs. TI-99/4A vs. Atari 400/800 vs. ZX Spectrum vs. BBC Micro vs. Amstrad CPC vs. Old Macs vs. IBM c...

Re: KS Act 1 runs on a 4th operating system: ReactOS!
Linux isn't binary compatible with Unix, nor is it designed to be. See the difference? I support the idea of ReactOS, I just don't think there's a point to calling it a different OS that KSA1 runs on because once/if ReactOS is perfected the distinction will be meaningless. We could also for the sak...

Re: Swimwear!?
I think I am to blame for that. Told them that I did not like the idea of skimpy swimsuits because I (Hisao) would probably get jealous because of all the other cripples oogling my (his) girl. As a solution some people suggested a private beach. Oh, I understand your train of thought. I was just su...

Re: What would sex with each of the girls be like?
Well after reading this entire thread, I've come to realize something. You guys have given this a lot of thought, especially regarding the emotion and such during such events. Though i honestly say that i haven't really given much thought on the topic. (Which is probably why, "Lucky Rabbits Foot" s...

Re: what will you do when the game comes out?
1. Play Emi's path 2. Play the other girls 3. Get pissed when I hit a point that keeps me from getting 100% 4. Come crawling to the forums for a guide 5. Get depressed that KS is done (I can't concieve of this being other that a one-shot. I'm sure the devs want their lives back.) 6. Watch the board ...

Private beaches? Where the heck is this coming from? They do have a pool there at the school where they could swim without getting stared at as they would at a public place.

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
I wouldn't say useless but extended periods of not running the client can make the work unit so late that it gets reassigned to someone else. I know from reading the PS3 FAQ standard computers processing on their main CPU are given more time since the work they are assigned is tailored to their gene...
