Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
Why, you guys almost make it sound like I am stealing something  Believe me, there is no noticeable change in the electric bills before and after I got the computers folding. I should know, I have a hand in processing them. I suppose they did increase an iota, but believe me when I say that ...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
Hmm... I don't have a very good computer at all, in fact, it's bordering on 'landfill worthy' at the moment, but I thought that I would try to help, even if it's just a little bit... If it can run the client thats fine. Even one WU adds to our total; so if you have the cycles to spare anything you ...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
But surely the game will become more popular upon final release, hopefully bringing more people to our folding team? Thats also something I'd love to see, but until I saw a rise in the number of folks joining in to fold proteins I don't want to add into the wild guesses I'm already making out of th...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
Wow, 25 million? Id' love to see that. I just have a hard time getting myself to trust those projectotions. My own personal hopes are to see 20 million but I think 14 is a reasonable one giving people leeway for plenty of computer downtime and gaming.

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
I scoured the internet to see if anyone has taken notice of our folding. http://tales.namco.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=2857563&sid=675d001093180863372052abd9131451 Nothin' big, but the Tales series of games community forum apparently is trying to do some folding of their own. Ok, so I was going to ...

Re: Would you date a girl/guy with a physical disability?
And if we are throwing "maybes" around; "maybe" the SF Giants will win the World Series in my lifetime. I think it would be better saying if the Cubs will win a World Series ever again. The thing is I don't CARE about the Cubs. I only care about my team. :D Silly as it sounds, I think I'd hav...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
Team, welcome to the top 700. Bara, happy 1000th WU. Whups! 2 little milestones that both slipped by me. :D Also I noticed that the Folding_Texas seems to have had a bit of a disruption. Since Oct 27 they have been putting out about 1K PPD. Calguns shows no signs of falling off their 100K PPD avera...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
All that being said, It's kind of nice to be one of the only teams that works... like a team! Yep, I just wanted to let folks know why I thought we were not up against a Fed supercomputer. Lord, if they let lose a monster like Roadrunner on F@H... e-peens around whe world would shrivel. (...

Re: KS Heroines: Goddes Versions
Can't we keep this all to one thread ? This is really ridiculous. Keeping everything to one thread is fine; except I wasn't looking for "Wacky and Zany" responses. I was looking for comments on just this one concept and not for wide open, rambling discourse. Then of course, you can make a case to c...

KS Heroines: Goddess Versions
Since the Heroines of KS have been compared to foods, D&D characters, and sine waves I figure it is time to move the public discussion to a "higher plane". :D (This idea came around in some PM's and I suggested it would make some fun discussion in the forums, but the other person was too shy to crea...

Emi - due the her enthusiasm and physical nature. Face it, those blades she runs around on have no heels on them so she is a "round heels" kinda girl. Would you like your ban shaken or stirred? Ye gods, and here I thought the Caine thread had me immunized against the worst one-liners y...

Re: which KS girl do you think would put out the easyest?
To be on topic for once... Rin - obviously thinks about sex and isn't afraid to say what she thinks, plus does not shy away from physical contact with Hisao Emi - due the her enthusiasm and physical nature. Face it, those blades she runs around on have no heels on them so she is a "round hee...

Re: which KS girl do you think would put out the easiest?
Besides, what would you think of someone who has been instructed in the enlightened path of the Holy Roman Church but is willing to forget that instruction in a time span of less than 3 months? It would not do anything good to her image. Not everybody can trust someone who is ready to break a (spec...
