Re: Cool story bro: bionic limbs one step closer.
Thats good to hear... all you need now is the brain-processor interface... which is like building a computer (with hardware) and now you need the software/UI to complete it. You need soooo much more than that. First you need a way to interface with the nerves. Then you need to figure out the signal...

Re: Emi Horatio Caine One-liners
Hmmm, if I was writing it myself I'd have put "Blinded you with science" in panel 3, but find the way it was done is still funny. Getting worried about a certain format is too much for me. It isn't like I'm trying to translate them to a foreign language or anything.

Isn't that backwards? It reads better like this doesn't it, "I wish I could spend a night under hanako with the moon and stars."DESU wrote:I wish I could spend a night with hanako under the moon and stars. ;_;

Re: Cool story bro: bionic limbs one step closer.
Meh the DARPA stuff isn't as mind blowing as people think. Independent researchers are coming up with the same systems only difference is that unlike them DARPA doesn't release its information. The only interesting thing about the limbs they're making now are actually the modular design. So, if DAR...

Re: KS CYOA threads
butthurt fags just need to get over us already and live with it. And that's the exact reaction trolls want. so the trolls want us to carry on posting? Like you can say anything is consistent with 4chan. So what does a Troll want? A well populated active thread to be a troll in? Hard to be a Troll a...

Nah, crush them up to powder and down them in a glass with a raw egg Rocky Balboa style is the only way suitable for our "VN Stud" Hisao to take all those. :mrgreen: (Yes, I know... time released medications... yackty, smack; do not bite or crush... yammer, blather. It is a real bad idea to do, but ...

Wooo. Not long before we get into the realm of augmentics. Then its time to start trading in flesh for synthetic. Not quite, but closer every day it seems. DARPA (you know, the guys who brought you the Internet) is aiming for a neurally controlled artificial limb (meaning brain implants control the...

Re: The Friend Zone ending
Whether you call it a good ending or bad ending; my opinion is any ending that hits me with some sort of emotional response besides the thought that, "I wasted how many hours of my life to get to THIS???" will meet my personal definition of a "Good ending". Too much entertainment I pay for already l...

Re: Misha's disabillity?
That makes a lot more sense that her not being able to throw due to anemia, of all things. I'm really starting to like the "inner ear is screwed up" hypothesis, because it explains so many things: Misha being loud, knowing some sign language when she met Shizune, getting dizzy on the stairs, and no...

I freakin like Kenji! This VN wouldn't be as good as it is without him :P I agree. Maybe it's just because there's nothing lost in translation with KS, but I thought Kenji was way funnier than most VN/anime/manga-style comic relief characters tend to be. I think Kenji is most likely to loose some o...

Re: so who should star in the first KS Doujin?
Hmm, the armor in RAITA's sketch gives me a feeling of looking at some 14th-15th century illustrations of armor pieces? Something like you might see in one of Leonardo Da Vinci's sketchbooks. I think it is mostly the small bucklers that evoke that feel in my mind.

And Hanako is still up there on Fakku. I guess President's Day wasn't important enough of a holiday to replace her.
