Re: Shizune's cell phone
Word of God, etc etc, but I was still under the impression that the deaf community was all-up-ons SMS. At least in America, they're very tight-knit. Are Japanese deaf not closely-knit, or what? It seems counter-intuitive is all. She's gotta have at least one deaf friend, and even if she didn't, you...

Oh, good to know she upgraded from writing in cuneiform on wet clay tablets with a sharpened reed stylus. Postage on those tablets was expensive.Aura wrote:Shizune is oldfashioned and uses a cute stationery notebook and a fountain pen that she carries with her if she needs to talk through writing.

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team
I'm sure some of you have already noticed, but we're poised to pass 4chan in the near future. 4 who? Actually, I find that sort of surprising. There are a lot of 4channers out there which equates to a lot of spare cycles but I guess Folding is a little too much dry science and not enough ...

Re: Blooper Reel
Well, once way back in High School I took a blind friend to "see" a movie. It was the not the best choice of a movie to try to describe to a blind person since it was "The Gods Must Be Crazy". I was helpless with laughter for most of the rest of the movie once the damn Rover got winched up the tree....

Re: How well with KS stand up to the other great VN?
Aside from an attempt to read Narcissu (computer glitches with the software prevented me from completing it) Act 1 of KS is the only VN I've read. I don't have the background to judge it against any other "Great" VN's. I simply judge it as a story. Those I've read by the ton. In my opinion it is a w...

Re: Two Favorite Girls
Actually I voted for Emi and Shizune. For opposite reasons; Emi is just my hands down favorite character and Shizune is the one with personality traits I find the most irritating. I think they make a sort of a "Salty & Sweet" combo.

They say the same about drinking, but booze still seems to be popular (or maybe "poplar" instead)...Csihar wrote:It's pretty much just a chat room, but be warned that you will lose brain cells if you spend extended periods of time there.ContinualNaba wrote:The hell is an irc channel? Re: Estimated length
Except that the Devs do KS as a side. They have other things like eating, sleeping, family, friends and work that kind of get in the way of constant updates. For more minor sort of one line sort of updates look into their twitter. I think there is (or was) a link on the dev blog page.

While I do run every post through a spell checker to make sure this isn't a problem, I guess my grammer sucks. So please don't lynch me for that, if you can help it. A lynching? Nah, We just make you go drink whiskey with Kenji up on a rooftop. And to be vaguely somewhere in the same hemisphere of ...

Re: Behold! Yet another Hanako
A different look at Hanako in a place/moment where she doesn't feel compelled to have to hide her scars. Much less "moe" and more a little glimpse at the person she is with out the scars. I find this look more intriguing than the general moe one of her.
