Re: Piano Sheet Music?

Alright I'll figure something out and post it here in a bit. Any particular tracks you want me to do?

Re: Piano Sheet Music?

So how would you read it? Just the treble clef, or is there something else you use?

Re: Piano Sheet Music?

Yeah, as I recall that idea was shot down a while ago. It's not really necessary, anyway. If we were going to credit each individual artist it would be more appropriate to do so in a separate soundtrack release or listing, imo. Leotrak: it's pretty easy for me to make different versions of these for...

Re: The Crucible

Well I was certainly planning on playing it, but when chendo was still in charge he told me they had dropped it, so I gave up. Guess it came out after I stopped caring :( .

Re: Waveform clipping in music (aka NO GOOD!)

Given that there are so few public sneak-peeks of what's going on in the music side of things, you probably get the impression that we are not doing anything with it. But I assure you that, just like all the writing, art, and programming, we are in fact going back and fixing up problems like this in...

Re: KS: The Fighting Game

I agree with fencing as well. iirc Lilly comes from a fairly upperclass, at least partially foreign family, and I think the sport of fencing just fits that image much more than kendo.

Re: Tokyopop talks to Pimmy at Anime Expo

It's ways better to release a genius game (novel, bla bla bla, no fighting over words) after long ages then to release something that would let down all the fans and leave a lot worse impression then the act 1, in a shorter amount of time. Katawa Shoujo Forever. A delayed game is eventually good, a...

Re: Home made KS music.

I could see something like this in game, actually. I do have a big problem with that main synth, whatever it is. It is just far too sharp and it sounds very tacked-on. But yeah, great atmosphere you have going on here.

Re: What exactly are we making here?

e: as for the "is a VN a game" discussion, I'm not happy with delta's definition either. To me, rules define a game. Personally I think trying to define a game by saying it requires "skill" or it has "rules" is like saying a pizza is something that has a pizza crust. Sure, you might not find it in ...

Re: KS: The Fighting Game

I like it. I remember a while back we were discussing a KS fighting game as a joke; I believe we decided the most 'suitable' weapon for Lilly would be a cane-sword (http://aesthetictraditionalist.files.wordpress.com/2008/11/cane-sword-rattan1.jpg). This could be handled basically the same as a rapie...

Re: KS: The Fighting Game

I did. It's essentially just a bunch of VST's packaged with FL Studio (FL Slayer for the guitars, FL Keys for the piano, BooBass for the Bass, and Sytrus for the synths). The drums and the strings are some shitty soundfonts I found else where.
