Re: All ages version?

It would be feasible to do what I did with Kagetsu Tohya. That is, make a preference that skips the H scenes, but does not pretend they never happened (so no rewrite, just showing a nice equivalent of "scene missing" and picking up after it). Well, of course it would also be possible to rewrite if p...

Re: All ages version?

I think people are widely overrating the size and type of the audience of this project. Making a non-H version might make it appeal to 600 people instead of 500, especially if the H is actually good. It really is both too generic in type and too specialized in topic to become THE breakthrough game f...

Re: All ages version?

I am not too fond of going both ways. Do it properly, one way or another. Too many H-games already have problems with non-fitting H-scenes, and if you write them to fow with the story for a change (which is obviously the best way), you shouldn't be able to take them out that easily.

Re: Musician: aang001

I think we are also still interested in more pop song-like tracks for the opening and endings... right?

Favorite girl.

I've been wondering which one of the girls is the fan favorite. I can't really fathom who it is, and the impression differs wildly among people. So I decided to poll it. Be honest! (It doesn't matter what you actually know about the game, though you might want to include that in a comment or somethi...

Act titles

So, we thought it might be fun to start the Acts with eyecatches featuring a title of sorts. And I guess it's fun anyway to name the Acts. Of course, this is best done after they've been written - but Act 1 is nearly done and it's known what happens anyway. So, any proposals for the title of Act 1? ...

Re: Crippled/Heart

A word to the wise: Brawlers are notoriously hard to code, even harder to balance, not to mention the very special requirements on the art (a lot of it, and it has to be well-animated to boot). There's a very good reason that most brawlers made by non-professionals tend to be not very fun at all (he...

Re: Some Cast Colour Changes

Honestly, I don't think the idea of making design specifics of the game user-definable is a good one to begin with. Why not do it with all the characters? Why not let the user supply the character names? The only message that this sends out is "we weren't able to decide", which I don't think is a go...
