Re: The Five Stages
Yeah, every heroine has at least one complete draft path (sometimes two), and one production path. The former usually being somewhat longer than the latter. That also discounts the large number of scrapped individual scenes, arcs, and that kind of thing. More writing being scrapped than is in the ga...

Re: State of the Shoujo... so far

Re: Katawa Shoujo in Comiket
Word from the Japanese guys that attended Comiket is that the Player's Guide and Act 1 CD combo (what they sold at the previous Comiket) sold out. Fragments of Summer, this Comiket's artbook, sold a very healthy 200 copies. Pretty good stuff all around.gomennasai wrote:So anything special happenned?

Re: About the game's erotica...
Skipping the H-scenes is voluntarily skipping content. The fact that the option is there at all is a concession, and we aren't going to be taking any additional measures to accomodate those who choose to skip parts of the writing. That said, the H-scenes don't have a tremendous amount of earth shatt...

Shizune's act 3 writing and direction is complete.
No comment on anything else though, other than that we are on track to release this year.

Re: Development question.
As in, IRC logs of the dev channel? 1) they're rather incredibly long, given that they're built up over years of development 2) they contain a lot of stuff we'd really not want public (bitchfighting, petty arguments, etc) 3) there's not much one could really glean from them, especially since they do...

Re: Knowing and Passing
To Kill a Mockingbird was written by a white person. You touch on some ideas that've been thought about (and talked about) extensively within the project, for obvious reasons, and stuff like this comes up within the KS game (in some ways, quite frequently). The fact above is something I've settled o...
