Re: Fanfiction: Fractures
You need longer chapters. I keep going 'how nice, how well-written, how in-character... how short.
'.

Comment from the Chair
I love this discussion as much as I loved having Leaty around last month. We're seeing nuts-and-bolts, comparisons, learning points... wonderful!
I'll just throw in a little question here:
What short Hanako fiction do you like most, or has made the greatest impact (good or bad) on you—and why?

Re: Can You Accept Your Fate? - Saki Pseudo Route (Ch. 4, 8/
It's a fun read so far, but some word choices need to be altered, I think. Like 'diminutives' for 'euphemisms'. Otherwise, good job. :) I was going for "diminutive" as in the second definition here , which is specifically a euphemism that denotes smallness, or otherwise diminishes somethings meanin...

Would anyone like to compare Sisterhood with other Hanako works? Or is this the best Hanako of all worlds?

Re: Fanfiction: Fractures
Maybe it's the quiet one with osteoporosis who sits at the back of the class and watches everyone succeed while he thinks he's living a lousy life. Cut Akio some slack, man. His father was a drinker. ... And now my characterisation of Akio totally makes him The Joker. "Hanako, you wanna know ...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Meeting Update: Aug/Sep—Hanako)
The first version of Sisterhood was great and I'd highly recommend it. It really feels like a good strong continuation of the game. Where can we get that, these days? :) I thought he left it on the forum and made a new topic for the new version, but I could be wrong. The old thread leads only to th...

Yamaku Book Club (Meeting Notice: Aug/Sep—Hanako)
Discussion on the character, life and times of Mr Mutou is of course ongoing. However, for the rest of August and the month of September, we'll be discussing the first girl that Hisao focusses on in Yamaku... Yes, the one who is hiding behind a veil of hair... Miss Hanako Ikezawa. The 'big text' for...

Re: Could you?...In real life?
Another part everybody leaves out when they say they wouldn't mess up like Hisao did, is that they wouldn't necessarily successes where Hisao did either. Messing up and being socially awkward are one of the reasons (at least some of) the girls are interested in him in the first place. Another take ...

Alt Dreams [One-Shots] (36—'Cabin Fever') (20150821)
This is a tongue-in-cheek but nonetheless sincere tribute to our colleague dewelar on the conclusion of his masterpiece, Developments . Cabin Fever Hanako arrived at the tea-room only a few minutes after lunch, as usual. What was unusual for her was arriving alone—these days Hisao normally accompan...
