Re: Which of the characters would date you?
I guess the answer would likely be all of them, based on past history. But I did end up with Shizune—or someone a lot like her.

AtD—Misha's Arc (Part 5 up 20140421)
This is the fifth part of Misha's arc in 'After the Dream', my post-Lilly-neutral-end mosaic. It takes place after this part of Shizune's arc and days before this part of Emi's arc. Part of it takes place in parallel with this part of Hanako's arc. Misha 5: Restitutions (T -2) Every time I look at ...

Re: I wonder how many dreams Hisao inadvertently crushed
I figured that after the Lilly neutral ending, Hisao still has a chance with ANY of the remaining girls. Heck, dewelar's engineered it to look that he might even have another chance with Lilly AND any of the remaining girls. The glories of writing your own epilogues… :) But Liminaut's right. Emi is ...

Re: I wonder how many dreams Hisao inadvertently crushed
The one thing we canonically know about all of them is that within this window of time, they aren't attached; hence Hisao has at least one clear opening for an attempt at any of them.

Re: I wonder how many dreams Hisao inadvertently crushed
Perhaps the reason they're all available in Hisao's possible futures is that they're the ones who don't have any dreamers. After all, there must be a lot more 'eligible' females in the pool, considering you've got at least four classes in that level. And of course, the ones a bit more junior.

Re: Liking Shizune but not enjoying her route?
It's more like a play where you're given multiple endings. Comparing it to D&D is dumb because D&D can take you a whole lot of places while visual novels are a static experience with illusory engagement. I think this is the key. It's not an RPG, it's not a game. It's one of those pieces where you c...

There's ambiguity in A22's line, "Hold more interesting discussions."

Re: The Yamaku Library - The fan fiction archive -13/4/14
Honestly, I couldn't care less about word count. Chapter count would be more useful. But if you are going to keep a word count, you might want to have somebody go back through it and type it out right. I'm pretty sure A Little Push (for example) doesn't have 3.188 words for example. 3,188 might be ...

http://shimmie.katawa-shoujo.com/image/2284.png That's fun and all, but the artist really gave him an outright girl's torso… My torso's like that :P Seems like an odd idea to completely redesign characters though. It wouldn't even work if you were just taking it from narration, as they're described...

Re: Hisao Nakai - Thoughts on our protagonist?
He's the same in other "festival endings", it's just that the other girls have less dragging-around tendencies. This is true. Even his decision to run is mostly "do what the crazy legless one says and you might not get attacked" rather than his own initiative. Only later does he take a real stand. ...

Evocative... ...and horrifying. Very realistic how you portrayed rape as an act of power, moreso than sex. ‘ku-er-veh’ By some coincidence I learnt this word not long ago on a Polish YouTube video , and I remembered the meaning from when I read the comments! Oops. It's not a very polite word, no ma...

Re: Hisao Nakai - Thoughts on our protagonist?
But yeah, he's pretty fucking lame, especially dealing with Jigoro. I think that's a bit much. This Hisao actually repeatedly interrupts a katana-twirling joker who has obviously got a 30% weight advantage on him, mostly muscle. Not such a pussy. Come on, when Jigoro starts on about his autob...
