And now for something completely different : what is official about the Hisao's Lifespan ? I often read "unlikely to reach 30 years" (and I have see also in the Iwanako fanfic) but but I don't see where that comes and the doctor early in the prologue is not so pessimistic. (And Hisao seems a little...

Re: After the Dream—Rika/Mutou/Akira Triptych (Complete)
There was the one year where the school's slogan was, "Special People Helping Special Kids Overcome Their Obstacles to Success". Yeah, when I got a hold of one of the brochures with that slogan on it, and brought it to journalism class, the entire class rofl'd... and then we proceeded to write a sc...

Re: Types of emotional reactions to KS
Actually, it's interesting from a researcher's point of view to see how people respond to KS -especially- if they've not been exposed overly much to Japanese culture. That's why when recently I saw the comment I've appended below, I nodded a bit (initial, slightly shallow instinctive response) and t...

Isn't it better (since more precise and hence meaningful) if you can show she would like it because she's Shizune?metalangel wrote:{tedious}Of course it would be her favourite restaurant, she has to like it because she's Deaf.{/tedious}

Re: Recommend a VN
When is a VN not a VN? Sometimes I think of a few of the text-adventure novels and experiences I've had, and they can be remarkably VN-like, emotionally speaking or aesthetically speaking. Perhaps the authors are trying to recreate VN as textual, to textualise the visual?
Here.

Re: The Fate of Hisao ?
There is nothing remotely pessimistic about "These people will mutually dissolve their romantic bond on completely good terms and still be good friends afterward." That is what an amicable split entails, for the record. And now for something completely different: Hanako ends up with one of the othe...
