Re: Crippling phobias

Actually I think that there are indeed people who choose to be depressed. Alcohol is a wonderful CNS depressant that lots of people choose to imbibe. At the same time, there are brain-based conditions that lead to depressive behaviour, and the sufferer has no choice but to be depressed unless drugs...

Re: Crippling phobias

Are you under the misapprehension that people choose to be depressed? I think most people believe that. HINT: Most people are wrong. Actually I think that there are indeed people who choose to be depressed. Alcohol is a wonderful CNS depressant that lots of people choose to imbibe. At the same time...

Re: Random KS Discussion

On the Yandere thing though, Emi would be the kind of girl to attack anyone who goes for Hisao to be honest, I mean, he's that one guy shes opened up to, she wouldnt ever give him away. There's a reason she's referred to as "the prettiest pitbull in all creation" in brythain's AtD. :D Haha! I went ...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Huh ? it's a another culture, and anyway I find people of megacities very weird on this subject. I suposse it's like in the great american cities where you receive a discharge of taser if you ask the time to a woman ? No, quite the opposite. The Japanese (and several other societies) consider sayin...

Interlude (20140824): Pavane

The slightly gaunt and unshaven stranger surprises me as I enter my room. Then I realise that he's no stranger, that in many ways we know each other a lot better than most. "Mutou-sensei," I say politely. "What brings you here?" "Heh, author, we're about the same age, same profession, more or less. ...

Mutou: Pavane — from his memoirs

Dear readers, this piece has come to me from the editorial assembly committee that you too have come to know and appreciate, if not love. In the interlude preceding this piece, you may find the motive force behind its publication. It appears to be a collection of episodes spanning the years 2006-20...

It's my demi-anniversary! It's been six wonderful months that I've been in this forum, and I'd just like to thank all of you for being a great community to hang out with. :)

Interlude (20140824)

I look up from my work, suddenly realising it's only been six months since I entered these forums on 24 Feb 2014. And there they are, a tall thin lady with a characteristic silver braid; and another one, blonde, with a typically aggressive but rather sweet presence. I am at first a little perturbed ...

Re: Long term relationship with Rin? Be honest...

Even if you disregard all the hindsight stuff you had the luxury of reading all of this. You could pause whenever you wanted to pore over what Rin said to find the meaning - and apparently you still didn't get all nuances of her meaning on the first readthrough. You also had the advantage of not ac...

Re: Long term relationship with Rin? Be honest...

Which is why Hisao is so frustratingly realistic. He himself is heavily drugged (look at his list!) and slow to figure things out, and doesn't get our observer detachment bonus. Yes, I agree with that spunky analysix. :)

Re: Dancing: A Miki pseudo-route (updated 8/23)

I hope Shizune didn't really want to 'sick' Misha at him, but to 'sic' Misha on him is just about acceptable. :) [LINK]

It's an entertaining read, needs editing a bit as the others have said, but you sound like a native speaker. And I have a soft spot for Miki. :D

Re: Random KS Discussion

Yuuko gives me this calm feeling everytime she shows up. Like a 'everything will be fine'-kinda feeling. I'd be really interested to actually look further into her backstory, but I'd be more pleased to do it of I'm playing as 'THE LAST SANE MAN ON THIS INSANE WORLD' than the 'Master of Romance' ins...

Re: Cracked article on being Deaf

Unless allowing people to stomp on others because you're scared to speak up doesn't make you a bad person. Yes spunk, exactly. People don't speak up not because they are bad people, but because they are scared, weak puny mortals, and alone they don't have the power to stand up to opression. Even th...
