Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread
My headcanon is that Emi's father was a cop who got taken out in the crossfire during a Family dispute. Miki's father was a detective who decided to do something not quite legal and died for it. Yamaku is actually sponsored by Families, who use it as an honourable way of taking care of the dependan...

I saw that, and then I realised I'd also been playing Kami and pretending the whole thing is in Rin's head.SpunkySix wrote:...it isn't?Khalego wrote:More to topic, I've been playing Okami and pretending the whole thing is in Rin's head.

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread
Shouldn't the positive assertion be proven? We have no evidence that it was hell apart from various people thinking it would've been hell for them in shizune's place. :) But which is the positive assertion  ? If both, then both have been proven equally. Thus, everyone's headcanon is equally c...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread
In fact, when Hisao suggests to her in her route that her father loves her, she replies [I know.] Who can make your life more hellish than someone doing it out of love? Trust me, for I know whereof I speak. :( *nods* Headcanon for Jigoro aside (I tend to think that this is who he really is, but was...

Re: Kenji
[Hey, remember when fictional characters could exist without everyone who isn't actually qualified to do so tacking Asperger's and autism onto them? That was a neat time. I wanted to give you a 'like', or failing which, some kudos. But I couldn't find those options. All I can say is, yes, that was ...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread
Are you about to enlighten me that acting like an insulting asshole, making one's children's lives hell, and carrying around a katana are three dead-common activities amongst dads in modern Japan? I would think that 'acting like an insulting asshole' already proves my point. He's acting and you kno...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread
Continuing on with my Miki headcanon from here. [snip] Yikes. I think we left headcanon territory about a hundred miles back there and are now firmly in fanficland. I was gonna say, he might as well write a fanfic with all that headcanon in his hands  With all that headcanon in his hands, he w...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread
I've heard this theory several times before, and I cannot fathom the level of generosity required to brook it for an instant. Well, that's why it's my headcanon and not yours! :D The point of this thread is more along the lines of 'what's in your head and why' as opposed to 'why it shouldn't be in ...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread
At least in the US, it goes back to the whole biblical belief that women are property of their father, and taking their virginity reduces their market value. So, the father is intimidating suitors into not damaging his property's value. Yes, that is an incredibly regressive viewpoint. Jigoro twirli...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread
After playing through Shizune's route again, I've decided that Jigoro was really 'being an asshole/jerk' in the sense that he'd decided to act one in order to test Hisao's responses. Except Misha states in the VN that Jigoro is like that to everybody. Which would be Misha, in her own experience. :)

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread
So Jigoro effectively trolling Hisao to see how adamant the kid is about dating his daughter? Makes complete sense actually. Hisao appears to have passed the test. Later in the route, Jigoro entrusts him with contacting Jigoro/Hideaki when they're on holiday in case Shizune needs anything. But Jigo...

Re: Sakura—The Kenji Saga (Part 3 upd 20140901)
Sorry for the disjointed nature of this section; Kenji admits that he hadn't much time to take notes when he was running around helping to look after Masako. But I think there's a lot more story left in this most unreliable of my narrators, who is about to pick up an even more interesting editor… :...

Re: How long did it take until you started your second path?
Yeah I didnt exactly like that you never saw most of the other girls once you were locked into a route. Like they never existed, a scene here and there where Hisao was still hanging out with the others would have been cool :? In Emi's route, Lilly even explicitly worries that Hisao totally forgot a...
