Re: Ask!
Even though I've read 4LS will not produce any more content under said company name or as the same team, do any of the seperated writers have other projects in the same vein (done or ongoing)? Do any of the writers even wish to proceed making another product like Katawa Shoujo even for money? EDIT:...

Interlude (20141013)
"Tell me about your sisters again, Suzu." Her eyelids lift sensuously. By now, I know her well enough to tell that she's not flirting; it's just the way she looks. "Eldest is Manami, fierce and obsessive, ruthless. People think she's crazy, but they also respect her, because she's good at what she d...

Straw—A Dream of Suzu (Part 2b up 20141013)
This is the second part of the second episode from the Suzuki files. Suzu's just graduated from Ibaraki. But what is she going to do now? Suzu 2b: Emergent (T -12) 2010 She looks up at me with big trusting eyes, but I know that’s only evolutionary advantage in action, only the same thing you see in...

Dread Cthulhu, willies, and Japanese art come together in a rather obscene fusion that defies physical reality, as many of us will recall...Liminaut wrote:I'm now imagining C'th*lh* getting the willies staring at one of Rin's paintings.

She keeps singing her memoirs to me. Half-asleep. And sometimes, in no particular order. With rhymes.Serviam wrote:With due respect for Suzu's condition, I imagine it would be a challenge to chronicle a narcoleptic's memoirs.
And she has four sisters. It's driving me insane.

There's normally a small group of handles, like 'dear' and so on. Sometimes after many years, you find that using a first name seems somehow odd. :) My parents have been married for well over 40 years and call one another by their first names. My parents hit 50 years of marriage this year; they use...

Re: The Library Anniversaire Collection (Last Section)
I just saw this. Don't know how I missed it till now. Hmm. ‘Mean Time to Breakdown’ — apparently an incomplete sequence in which Hisao Nakai abandons his girlfriend to a life of eternal suffering. Well, that's the weirdest plot synopsis I think I'll ever read of my fic. Actually, I was a little wor...

Re: Sakura—The Kenji Saga (Part 3-2 complete 20141010)
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuckk.... That....wow, that hit home. Especially the graveyard scene. I've never been to visit any of my dead yet. Not one. Not my friends, not my grandparents, not my uncle. Not one, because I couldn't bear it. I'd break before I reached the grave, and I'd need more people to carry me ...

This is an interesting piece on what happens when Japanese women who've been married a while are suddenly addressed by their first names: [ LINK ] *nods* You know, that makes way too much sense not to be accurate. Essentially, it's making the women feel young again, and who wouldn't want that :wink...
