Re: Vision
Awww. I feel teased, but in a nice way. I felt it was too short! Here, have some powerful feedback: characterisation great, plot-hook strong, development fluent, 11/10 would continue reading.

Re: Sakura—The Kenji Saga (Part 3-4b up 20141201)
Hi! I'm glad you had as much pleasure reading about Kenji's familial interactions as I had presenting them. :) If my analysis of your writing is correct, then it was Kenji's uncle who showed him the truth about the Families , and I'm speculating that the "private project" that's keeping Kenji warm i...

Letting Go (up 20141205)
Getting into a head that some think of as particularly thick? It's not an easy task. But sometimes, things happen that make it possible. Here is a very short little tale of a long friendship. It's a side-story, I suppose, to Rin's arc. Letting Go (2012-14) She’s still damn infuriating sometimes, bu...

Hisao Tries To Write To His Wife
For Shizune Hakamichi We’re old now and your slender fingers Touch me tenderly but are gnarly I forget and whisper in your ears You laugh because my breath is tickly You’ve trapped me again now that I’m weak No more your young man lean and healing But the old survivor past his peak Above whose batt...

Re: Shipping the spares?
I know nothing is ever said one way or another, but I always thought of Mutou as being married According to this old (2008) fic by Aura he is, but also according to that fic..er..well, just read it and you'll see. :P That's Aura just having fun. I always thought my Akira-Mutou relationship was much...

Re: How good is Hanako at chess?
On further reflection, I think the reason Shizune beats Hanako is that Shizune employs gamesmanship and deliberately plays what we call 'ugly' moves. She probably also grinds on instead of offering a draw in even positions, thus panicking Hanako (who knows it's a drawn position) into second-guessing...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club
Yeah, I'm on the swim team and stuff. I dunno, its just crazy how many people there are in the world, yet we can still feel alone . You mean "lonely". Alone is just being by yourself. Lonely is being alone and not wanting it. The difference is worth remembering. There can be much value in being alo...

Sakura—The Kenji Saga (Part 3-4b up 20141201)
This concludes the fourth instalment of the third part of the redacted archive of Kenji Setou. People's lives change. Kenji helps out. Note: for those who would like Misha's perspective, the relevant parts of her arc are here and here . Kenji 3: Distant Drums—Year Four (September 2018-February 2019...

Re: Sakura—The Kenji Saga (Part 3-4a up 20141129)
All is well. Yet when one chooses to protect the flowers, is it not sad when one can no longer walk among them? The burden of the guardian...Often beyond that which they must protect. Kenji's existence is such a sad one...hell, his might be the most depressing story here when you come to think abou...

Re: Sakura—The Kenji Saga (Part 3-4a up 20141129)
Why do I get the feeling Chieko is Sae, the big neighbors are Russia and China, and the guy from across the park who set the dogs on Japan is America with the nukes? Chieko's not Sae; Kenji's already met Sae ( see entry for September 2012 here ). The neighbours (as you have guessed) are people Kenj...
