Ooh. I am officially over-Miki-ed today, I think. This is a very welcome addition. I like the reconciliation, the track meet; I do think a little confusion over tenses does exist (at least from the reader's perspective) but the story's fine. Thanks!

I think Suriko's surprise just impacted the KSfandom so hard that the bells are ringing nonstop.

I am at peace today. Things are right at the periphery of the KS-verse, now that Miki has her rightful place. Thank you, Suriko, and merry KS-mas.

The whole experience felt a bit forced to me. It's as if Hisao just had a revelation saying "Well ok I really need to be the biggest a-hole I can possibly be with this one."
