Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread

My one bit of headcanon regarding Mutou is that he has an old Toyota that he's driven for years and that still runs great. It's an old hatchback, blue and sort of boxy. I have a similar headcanon, except that by 2024, it's a battered old Honda Civic, dark blue. The Toyota finally gave way in 2010 a...

Re: Iwanako: Mean Time to Breakdown {updated 2015-4-1}

I am so happy today that I have had the pleasure (oh yes, the extreme pleasure) of reading about people being executed for teapot larceny, boulders of gneiss, girls with messy/odd behaviours, things like that. And of course, the fateful encounter in Beanbagland. Thanks very, very much.

*grin* now that's a wonderful new idea! it's amazing how many exclamation marks she uses! what a way to introduce a new character! (well an old one who never gets any exposure!)

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread

My headcanon is that Brythain is Mutou. So would that make Silentcook Nomiya? Oh, Leaty! :shock: (Edit: on second thought, that's far better than the person who thought I was secretly Kenji. :D ) I think of Silentcook as the unnamed Principal. Once in a while, he looks at Mutou, shakes his head and...

This used to hold the piece named Moment of Transition.

It was, for me at least, a moment of regret... :D

Rika—Strings (Update 20150331)

WARNING: SPOILERS — probably best if read only after the three main arcs in this thread We all grow old together, but Rika Katayama least of all. She has the advantage of always having had white hair, we joke when we meet these days, if we meet at all. But few at this end of the century know that t...

I dunno... Shizune, Lilly and Mutou all related? That's a bit too much of a coincidence for me :P
It's only ONE coincidence. Lilly has no choice, that she's related must be canon. :D

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Currently Undergoing a Sea Change)

So what she makes and what she sees are two different things; perhaps she is frustrated because she wants butterflies but gets distorted human faces instead. I was just rereading the last few posts on this thread, and I don't think this is the case. Remember the sketch Rin draws of Hisao in her rou...

Occasionally, [Mutou's] niece Shizune comes over for a visit... I swear, brythain, especially after reading your latest ruminations about one of Emi and Hisao's kids falling for one of Kenji and Yuuko's , a couple hundred years in the future of AtD Japan is going to be nothing but disabled people w...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread

Why does everyone give Mutou these sad backstories? Because he has a sad face, and imagining him different is either difficult or cynical. My headcanon is that he's divorced. The cause of that divorce was that he and his wife had a stillborn child and each of them blamed themselves for it, so they ...

Re: Learning To Fly - A Saki pseudo-route (Updated 3/29)

It's strange, but true. Until you have actually been shopping with a lady, you don't know her. Now that we've been out shopping properly in this scene, I feel I've come to know them a lot better. How odd. Warm and tingly, like Saki's leg.
