Re: Freaks and Friends
Finally we get the canonical Hachisame and Hitomi... out of the mind of Rin, no less. Good one. Would be even better with a few edits, but I'm not complaining!

Re: Epilogue. (Emi Good Ending)
Hey I'm new here and am working on a story I guess. Any constructive criticism would be great!!! WALL OF TEXT MFW when WoT:  The main problem is that paragraphs help establish flow and break up the text into units of expression. If the whole thing is one run-on paragraph, it's like a breathle...

Re: Shizune/Misha Love/Hate Relationship
Holy shit, what have I revived? This has turned into quite the debate, and I now feel inadequate because I can't contribute as much as I'd like. Anyways, yes, Shizune's actions were uncalled for in that one scene. That still doesn't make her a bad character, as many in the thread have said she is. ...

Some day I will write an Axeblade saga.Serviam wrote:"Old Man of the Mountain."
I'm tempted to make a reference to either Rashid ad-Din Sinan or the Great Stone Face of New Hampshire, but I know it is neither.

It would be a flying spaghetti monster, no doubt.Munchenhausen wrote:it's like if I made a huge death machine and named it 'spaghetti'

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread
I think that if I wanted to get non-Satou characters into Hogwarts, I'd do it by replacing canon Harry Potter characters with somewhat analogous KS ones. Hanako Longbottom: " Ivegottogodosomething! " *sprints out of the Hogwarts Library* It might end up like Katawa Kijo by dear old Mirage_GSM.

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread
So yeah, none of them would go to Hogwarts. They'd all be shipped to the Japanese school ;) Well, if we are being pedantic, the only reason Lilly wouldn't go to Hogwarts is because her parents left her in Japan. If she'd been in Inverness at the time, she'd be eligible for a letter. So maybe an AU,...

Straw—A Dream of Suzu (Part 4 up 20150421)
This is the fourth episode of the Suzuki files. Large portions were redacted, but the story remains. Suzu 4: Mortality (T -2) 2022 Sendai’s an old glove you don’t want to wear; its texture is rough, its scent is despair. But Sendai was home, and Sendai was where the heart that was single thought it...

Re: Sakura—The Kenji Saga (Part 4-3b up 20150413)
Ou, damn, that last part really was a punch to the heart. For both Shizune and Kenji! I finally caught up, so that's always a plus! Is it bad if I'm half expectign Kenji to go off the deep end and jump into the sea or something? Regardless, once again excellent work my friend! :D Thank you! H...

Re: "Can you open your mind?" A Molly Pseudo-Route
There's a pleasant tone, although word choice is sometimes problematic (e.g. as if she'd been declined - like a bad credit card! - instead of 'rejected'). What I'm sad about is they went off without bothering about Suzu. :( Also, while it's sort of permissible with Hisao, our generic protagonist, th...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Meeting 18/19 Apr 2015 onwards)
A proper Death fic would, in my opinion, have to take place relatively close to the time during which the VN takes place—and there really aren't many of those. Well, that part's true enough. Mind you, it's not the kind of thing I generally like to read, but (especially considering Megumeru's recent...
