Re: The Benefit of Hindsight (updated 6/2!)

A very nice chapter; you continue to capture the feel of a true KS sequel, in some ways. Just a few things that bug me: 1) Osamu calls Hisao 'Mr Hisai' (that's really odd!); 2) Lilly leans against the wall, which somehow doesn't seem very Lilly; 3) wait a minute, shouldn't Hisao be having a regular ...

Yamaku Book Club (Meeting Resumed: New Reading!)

So, what does everyone think about the role of ghosts and/or the supernatural in KS fan fiction? Meanwhile, to continue with the Hisao-centric theme, here's an intense short-short from an old friend. I present to you for further Hisaoish goodness and consideration: Classroom Game , by Oddball. Comme...

After the Dream—Akiko Nakai ('Breaking News')

In which we wander deeper into an ancient labyrinth filled with images of those we used to know. Akiko 3b: Breaking News (T +20) Saturday 12 March “Hello, grandmother!” “Hi, Sunshine! Don’t call me that!” says Meiko Ibarazaki, sounding and looking quite spritely for an octogenarian child of the 196...

However, only elements in group 8 (or group 0, w/e) have full outer shells of electrons (a full outer shell consists of 8 electrons, except in the first shell, which is two). Elements in group 1 have one electron in their outer shells, those in group 2 have two etc. (Or Group 18. See IUPAC LINK . S...

Re: Occasional Art Thread

So it's been a while since I've posted anything because of college, but I finally got a tablet! And I figured, what better way to practice sketching that with one of my favorite fictional characters? Specifically, Forgetmenot's wonderfully-created Kagami Takahashi in his Kagami Pseudo-Route , which...

I thought it might become a thing. In fact, I made it AtD headcanon. After all, who knows what might happen a long way down the line? :)

Meeting Resumes 01 June 2015

Hi everyone!

June meetings resume with our first Hisao-theme fanfic short:

Reunion: Hisao And Akira Avoid The Family

Mahorfeus recommended it, dewelar said 'Hisao first', and here we are!

Please contribute your thoughts, ideas, tangents, and whatever else you have. :)

Re: Favourite artworks - reprise.

Or perhaps that moment when she is hearing her email via audio and receives an "I'm in Scotland right now, how do I get to your place in Inverness" message from Hisao. Oh thats a good one as well. (Though email seems less likely than a phone-call in that situation.) Stupid guy forgot to activate ro...

A confused-looking Lilly, That moment when you realise you left safe-search off. (And you happen to own a laptop that reads your results out loud) Or perhaps that moment when she is hearing her email via audio and receives an "I'm in Scotland right now, how do I get to your place in Inverness" mess...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Meeting Resumes 01/02 June 2015)

I thought this would be the appropriate place to ask: other than me, has anyone actually written with the intent of making actual books, and published them in that form? I figured the book club would know these sorts of things. Not sure about fanfic, also not sure if you're including digital books....

Yamaku Book Club (Meeting Begins 01/02 June 2015)

Alrighty, the never-ending meeting that is the Yamaku Book Club will resume on 01/02 June 2015. Reading for this will be: Reunion: Hisao And Akira Avoid The Family — by FluffandCrunch. This segues neatly from our previous 'Reunion' reading into the Hisao theme for June. Thanks to Mahorfeus for the r...
