I'm pretty lost here. Is this canon as in 'in the VN' cos if that's the case, then all of them!
Was there some kind of pre-story beforehand - I know it was developed from a series of Raita's sketches, but was there a whole story thing? If so, that might be why I'm pretty lost

It's difficult to say. I'm occasionally bothered by the glorification of hikikomori, even though my Asperger's is pretty mild, so I'd imagine it's certainly possible :/
