Re: Adaptive technology

Well, the MDMA and LSD therapies are essentially, as I understand, putting the brain into a state where it doesn't fall back on existing pathways to evaluate traumatic memories, and then intentionally triggering the memories, while allowing the brain to create new connections regarding those memori...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Yea I don't think I would listen to stanchinsky (romantic era musician). There is a reason I specified the music eras to Baroque and Classical. Romance era music can be confusing and crazy. 20th century music is a mixed bag though. Largely full of crazy pieces that play with sounds marvelously but ...

Re: A very crunchy drawings thread

This is considerably less funny than the turtle one. Yeah, I'd just finished reading Trainspotting (again - hence the text) and I felt like I could use that quote in particular. I might do an amusing one next time, though I was considering a nice pic of Emi. Work makes you free :3 You could not hav...

Re: You have been playing too much KS when...

In a blind rage, I promptly went to war with them. It didn't work well but I'll try again when I'm thinking more clearly. I think it proves that we are willing to fight to the death for the honour of our girls. Aaaah, I laughed so much at this :P I presume you have a saved version earlier on it tim...

I use that second one as my avatar on quite a few sites, actually. I think it's a fantastic picture :D

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I've had success with power metal and hard rock, but maybe that's just me. I've found J-pop useful, too, oddly enough. This. As much as I dislike the genre, rhythm is mostly basic enough to run without problems. The aural satisfaction is entirely different thing. Haha, this is pretty much my experi...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

As much as it pains me to say it, the easiest to run to is likely generic chart shite, as most of that is built around having a strong beat for drunk eejits to dance to. Punk might be an easy one as well, due to simple song structures, though the downside with punk (and hardcore punk) is that the s...

Re: Ask!

How were the sprites drawn? Obviously with a graphics tablet and all that, but where they drawn in layers and then 'constructed'? I've seen a few where the arms move or something and the hair remains the same, so I wondered if this was the case.

Re: Pairing the Spares?

Age of consent in Japan is 13, but I'm finding claims that in every prefecture except Nagano (and this relationship would occur in Saitama and possibly Miyagi prefectures), there's prefectural laws setting it at 18. So, basically, the 13 year AOC in Japan is simply setting a lower bound that in pra...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I thought music was there just to keep you entertained while running. I can easily attune myself to running with a constant beat (even if it is a little slow I can always make up a few rules like take 4 steps per beat or something). If I need constant beat than I could easily just stick to baroque ...

Re: Pairing the Spares?

Akria + Hidakei: LOOK AT THIS AND TELL ME I'M WRONG! http://shimmie.katawa-shoujo.com/image/1475.png I...I... I can't! This would be quite the pairing, I must admit. I mean, Hideaki's a bit young at the moment, but I'm sure in a year or two, when Akira's relationship ends suddenly, they'll be there...
