Re: Crippling phobias
I wonder if they could make a horror game that worked for blind people based on something similar to that concept. Like, it was totally pitch black, but there were some freaky noises around and you only had those and your tapping to rely on to navigate. And sometimes, that would fail and you'd have...

Re: KS-Inspired EDM EP In The Works
Stop the presses. We've got a winner. No, I'm serious. That would make for a great album cover. Now I just need to find someone who will do it... Aaah nice, glad I could be of assistance! :D I would draw it, but I doubt anything I could do could do it justice (particularly as I don't own a graphics...

Re: Favourite artworks - reprise.
Baww, the look on Shizune's face in that last one. The question is, why was she so anxious to be nice to Lilly? She's probably worried as to how she'll react, since they're not on great terms with each other. Or it's a shipping thing, one of the two. The nervousness in the larger picture is underst...

I do know what I'm talking about, I just needed to be "that guy" with the strange introduction methods. In all seriousness, though, welcome, please enjoy your stay, ours is a nice community and we'll gladly answer any concerns you have. It's best to save the "strange guy" introduction for about fiv...

Re: Katawa Seiyu
I will say that Lilly's voice surprised me. I expected it to be a little different, maybe lighter, like Rosalina's from Mario Galaxy, but younger. Still good, just... caught me off guard a bit, is all. Upon listening to it again, I like it more than I first did. And actually, Emi's did surprise me a...

Guys, we Emi aren't Emi going to Emi do this Emi 'waifu wars' Emi nonsense right now. It's childish and Emi silly and there's no Emi place for it here. Bestgirl.

Actually, dev commentary would be a cool bonus. Not that it would happen, needs to happen or should, just saying.Silentcook wrote:And you just missed getting it, too. :3Guest Poster wrote:If KS was meant to have an inane commentator in the background, I'm pretty sure the devs would have added him.

Re: Crippling phobias
I don't see how you can be afraid of a concept you've never been experienced to, and most likely never will. The actual darkness obviously won't scare them in a "oh gosh I can't see" sort of way, but it might in a "I don't know what's around me" way, which is something even sighted people experienc...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
I was actually surprised i wasn't the only one being inspired from Emi, it totally blows my mind how many pages this thread has gotten and how many people have actually gone out because of this game. She's an inspirational character like that, and it's hard to not want to move after that route. Ent...

Re: Gain/Loss after finishing KS
What I find "unrealistic", is that you cannot meet every girl, and all of them have the same affection for Hisao. Like... I would play Hanako's path, but Emi wouldn't care about me, well, because she's a video game character, and does not remember anything... Oh I wish you understand what I mean. I...

Re: Fanfics - Known Plot vs Plot Discovery?
What about bait-and-switch titles that seem obvious at the start, but then turn out to have a second, more important, meaning? FluffAndCrunch's "Scar Tissue" was a fine example. It's subtitled "a Hanako story" so the reader's immediate response is to assume the title refers to Hanako's burns. Excep...
