I did that with Emi. It took me half a year to start Rin's route. It's weird, but it's worth it too. Just give yourself some time and let it come naturally.

I'd say go with Rin if you like roller coasters. Shizune if you have a mind for ambiguity and frustration. Lilly's if you like blondes, I guess. I feel a pang of ouch every time a newcomer asks this. I remember when I was there, and man... the next three days or so were something unreal.
