Re: JUST a disccusion on what KS merchendise you would've li

k so double post, but this is kind of a big deal. This is verging on fantasy, (even though technically it is possible) but since it's a hypothetical anyway, I thought I'd share it: It's a treadmill with a screen attached to it that has the KS heart logo on its frame. As you run faster, the track on ...

Re: Favourite artworks - reprise.

Okay, I absolutely adore that Emi collage. I must ask though...

Is that Rin with long hair in the bottom picture?

Re: Random KS Discussion

I don't think Hisao would be involved at all. Emi/Miki is strictly a Hisaoless scenario. Correct. Keep in mind, it's my head canon that Miki isn't a big Emi fan due to befriending her ex and a rivalry on the track, so I'm imagining an angry body bash-fest that turns to fiery passion after the air g...

This is still about being random, right? Right.

Miki and Emi... at the same time.

Re: Other love stories you read before Katawa Shoujo

people hail it as the greatest, most romantic love story of all time "Romantic" does mean more than lovey-dovey-ness, though, and certainly more than being sensible about love. Namely, idealism, adventure, chivalry, etc. True. I just have a hard time accepting that as a positive in this context. OH...

Re: Gain/Loss after finishing KS

Gains: An introduction into the VN genre, a damn good experience while reading said VN over the course of three months and an appreciation for what is my first (and only) recommended "romance visual novel". Also found my way here near its end. Loss: A couple of sleepless nights and what little that...

Re: Other love stories you read before Katawa Shoujo

I refuse to count Romeo and Juliet as a love story. That was a "horny teens want nothing but sex from each other, rush into a baseless relationship, pretend it's the same thing as love and then melodramatically commit suicide over it" story. Hey, when the state of the medical arts is bloodletting, ...

Re: Favourite artworks - reprise.

I'll admit, had Misha been a girl with a route, her pink hair and WAHAHAs may have caused me to swing her way initially, and then history would have been forever changed. I may never have even hit Maximum Overspunk. http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2013/074/0/d/415324168510255_by_tailisu-d5y3jaq.jpg

Re: Random KS Discussion

Frankly, I think the fans make a much bigger deal over the lemons that the characters would ever do. Fans remember lemons. Hisao and Emi probably just remember the anal sex. Pretty much. They're as likely to recall it being mango lube as they are to recall it as lemon. So... maybe sheds trigger it ...

You mean her non-sports ones? I was thinking running shoes, just with an Emi theme somehow.
Both would be cool.

Good thought, but I don't know. I saw the five main girls and a brief synopsis, that's it.

Did you ever think "Boy, I sure wish Hanako was in Left 4 Dead!" Because somebody did. I... still... w- y'know what, no. No I wouldn't. I have standards, dammit. http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2012/021/7/c/drawing_with_rin_by_yankovic-d4n3sxp.png http://th00.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/i/2012/159/6/...

Re: Recommend a VN

Heh, I actually played the Starswirl Academy demo before I knew it was connected to MLP. I caught on fairly quickly, though. It wasn't truly horrible, but I thought it was way too heavy on the exposition, and the characters were either bland or annoying. Of course, I'm not the target audience, as I...
