Re: Random KS Discussion

We see that the VISOR makes everything look like bad visual effects from a 1980s music video. I got the impression that was how it rendered all the extravisible wavelengths and weird particles and such. It does. In Star Trek canon, the VISOR allows users to see into the UV and infrared spectrum, so...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread

Maybe bullying is too strong a word. I would instead compare it to Hisao's time in the hospital and how the visits from his friends and Iwanako dwindled. I have some first hand experience with this. When I was in the hospital and had visitors, it was painfully obvious to me who came to see me becaus...

Re: Random KS Discussion

I'm able to drift in and out of lucid dreaming. It's an amazing skill to learn, if you can.

The problem is, things don't always go as planned. I'll lose control of the dream or only have control of certain elements in it. Makes for a hell of a ride

Re: Random KS Discussion

I'm on a new cocktail of medication my dreams have been insane.

Last night I was visiting Yamaku when the school morphed into a giant dragon and I had to fight it off with a Green Lantern ring.

I have to share that so it doesn't fade away into obscurity.

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Change the perspective or alter the circumstances. I look back on things that were "unresolvable" over the last ten years and simply laugh at them now. Nothing is insurmountable. But that doesn't mean you bullrush through it or keep trying the same things over and over again. Too often people get lo...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread

Teenagers are teenagers, regardless of country. Every country or school tries to provide their best face forward to the rest of the world. That, combined with the general romanticizing of all things Japan can cause that misconception. With western culture becoming more prevalent, there's not much di...

Re: Random KS Discussion

We had small fairs at our schools growing up. Not quite as traditional as the Japanese festivals, but it wasn't uncommon for events like Homecoming, Winter Ball, etc.

Re: Favourite artworks - reprise.

It's not like English doesn't have its own share of words spelled the same way that sound differently. Take "Good food" for example. Both spelled the same, both sound different. I can appreciate the Rin in a bin joke. The proper pronunciation of her name doesn't take away from the joke. Also, Emi le...

It just seems to me that she came up with her personality in the game as a coping mechanism. You can see this in her as well when she cuts her hair. That's a pretty drastic image change.

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread

My headcannon is that the few normal students with no disabilities that go to Yamaku experience the same sense of shunning, stigma, and exclusion that disabled students would receive in normal schools. So Misha is overcompensating? :) Misha would be a special case I think because she works so close...
