I'll note that Hisao tends to have protective tendencies before the choice point that sends him irrevocably hurtling towards a Misstep... and the choice point that decides whether he gets Cut Petals or Continuing Melody is simply a matter of whether he trusts Lilly's judgment on what's best for Hana...

i dont know who did the measurments but im pretty sure they're not all exactly right, from what i know Lilly is the tallest of the bunch not rin, and why the hell is Shizune called Rosa?:)) also i think hanako has a bigger chest than rin, and Misha would have the biggest chest out of all:P soo yeah...

The trick is writing a Misstep BEFF that doesn't cheapen Hanako, really, or ignore the lessons that Hisao was supposed to learn. Heh, I've actually picked up on Hanako having a white knight streak (and a lot of it because she doesn't want to seem useless to others) long before this fic. And the VN explicitly invoked Emi's white knight streak - "knights who help each other", IIRC.
