Re: The Manila Tales –A Summer-ish Series (Updated 7/10)
When Hisato had settled down, they hopped off, and we didn’t get off until we were deep within a more modern section of the city, with skyscrapers and shops mixing with vender’s carts and wagons. Vendor is the usual form of that word, although vender isn't wrong per se. Also, I'd go for vendors', n...

Re: Birthday!
During Act 1?
Act 1 was released in 2009, for what it's worth.

If that was in reply to my post, I realized I was a year early for my post, and deleted it.

Re: Favourite artworks - reprise.
Really, that would work so well as a SMW ROMhack.
(Not sure how the sprites are encoded in SMW, though, and the Boo sprites would be tricky with the long hair...

Re: Developments (Post-Lilly Neutral End) - Chapter 45 up 7/
Being understanding and wanting what's best for Hisao over their own desires, and being able to cope with that, doesn't mean that the one that doesn't win (assuming either wins... and why flesh out Noriko the extent that she's been fleshed out?) won't have their heart broken.

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Now Reading: Mendācium)
...idea... While a different story, it would be far more reasonable, and in character. Thinking on it some more, I think it would be possible to do a cheating Hanako story and keep everyone basically in character. I would require three elements that Mendacium does not however. First, it would need ...

Re: Developments (Post-Lilly Neutral End) - Chapter 45 up 7/
The overlap really did get to be a bit much in this chapter, to be honest, especially considering that Hanako and Emi jointly realizing that they shared the same anxieties - the main reason to overlap that like that - was already revealed in the previous chapter.

Oh shit.
I... could easily see Lilly using permanent solutions at this point, too. (And I've written Lilly attempting such a solution after finding herself in a very similar situation, but in Scotland, after Misstep.)

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Now Reading: Mendācium)
Found the story: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/9429267/1/American-Displacement-Disorder I recall seeing it before and decided it wasn't worth my time, when I saw the synopsis. And the poster is an American that writes Call of Duty fanfic. Yeah, he knows what Adolf means. Edit: Oh god, there's twenty ...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Now Reading: Mendācium)
In conclusion, we have an ambitious effort which ended up somewhere in the ballpark of "mediocre" and "kinda bad," but, because of who and what it dealt with, has ballooned into a reputation more deserving of a fic where Hanako falls in love with an author self-insert who also happens to be the rei...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Now Reading: Mendācium)
Oh god I forgot about that whole stunt he had Hanako pull, re: hating everyone for being katawas, and being associated with them. Ugh. You'd think she'd be the last person to have that mindset.

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Now Reading: Mendācium)
Are we discussing it early? Looks like we're discussing it early. One question is whether you think Hanako can be a sinner, not just whether Hisao can be a saint. I actually believe that the core premise - the idea of Hanako cheating on Hisao, and them dealing with the aftermath - is possible (and I...
