Re: A Crimson Route [Act Two, Scene One Up]

I'm another fan of rain storms -- especially ones in late spring and early summer. Everything seems much more colorful after a good rain. I also grew up (and still live) on a farm -- so there is the garden to consider. :)

By the way, I'm loving the story so far!

I grin at her. "It'd be a way for you and your mother to cool off for a couple of days, right?" Emi narrows her eyes, and I respond more seriously. "Besides, the end of break is coming up soon, and I won't get another chance until the winter. By then, I might as well not bother doing something like...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread

The who GamerGate thing has left me confuzed. :?

Anyway, since we're talking Kenji here, it would be nice to point out that he now has a female ally. (Source: The Onion.) :)

Re: Random KS Discussion

Thinking about this now, I'm kind of wondering why they never did an equivalent deafness-related gimmick. Able to hear like a scientific instrument, well into infrasonic and ultrasonic, conscious control of notch filters, etc. That would've been interesting. They did do an episode where Data had to...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread

The route heavily implies that it's also the anniversary of the fire, even if it doesn't say it. Hanako doesn't strike me as someone who would be bothered by exclusion. In fact, I'd say she welcomes it. I agree with you about Hanako welcoming exclusion -- especially if those were those people's hon...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread

In a school where you're the odd one out (either from disability, skin color, sexuality, etc) you will get people that interact with you just because they feel they are obligated to or forced to because of the pressure around them, or they do it because in their mind it makes them a better person t...

Re: Favourite artworks - reprise.

This thread suddenly became 'favourite artworks — reprisals'. :D So we have one side that thinks that Rin in a tin bin is so cute it's a sin, and another side thinks that Rin the teen eating a green bean for halloween is a sight that must be seen. At least they've both got their Rin hats on. :) I a...

Mom looks back at me, her face not showing any emotion. "That's quite the entanglement, isn't it? I'm not really sure I can help you very much as far as being able to sort it all out. I don't know if it will be possible to do it without someone getting hurt, but I know you'll try. It sounds like Hi...

Thank you, universe! Took you long enough, Emi! - Universe There's a lot to decompress in this chapter, with Meiko's alcoholism and the reverse tackle hug kiss victory thingie for Emi. Will need to think more. (As Rin might say.) "Well, I thought that since I painted that painting for Hisao, and it...

Re: Learning To Fly - A Saki pseudo-route (Updated 10/17)

In a way, there is not one Hisao Nakai, but six , presented in the VN. (One for each girl + "manly picnic".) I'd actually argue that there are thirteen , one for each ending . At the very least, I can tell you with some authority that the Hisao of Lilly's Good Ending is quite different from the His...

Re: Learning To Fly - A Saki pseudo-route (Updated 10/17)

Hisao's personality is pretty much set in the first act, as he's the only constant among all the different girls he meets. But then, once you get into any of the routes, Hisao changes as much if not more so than the actual girls, and he goes in drastically different directions depending on the rout...

Re: Random KS Discussion

Nunnally from Code Geass is a prominent example. I knew there would be at least one I had overlooked. :| Yeah, I when I was watching that one I was thinking "How long until it gets mentioned on the KS forums?" Probably means I've been playing KS too much. :D Watched the first two episodes last nigh...
