Re: Developments (Post-Lilly NE) [Complete, 2015-08-11]

Something about stressful work weeks always seems to result in nosing about here, and this is where I seem to have wound up. A most interesting thing you did, I think. Yes, a most interesting thing indeed. I fancy you did Emi's path better than I did--for starters, there were other characters apart ...

I'm a terrible person, but I think that this was the Emi path that we all wanted to read...
This is the only Emi path that means anything.

The moral is "there's no enthusiasm like horny drunken enthusiasm."

Re: Ask!

There was a time, while you working at the game, in which you have thought about quitting and leave everything? I never officially quit, but I did disappear for a while with little to no explanation (the explanation: I was frustrated with how poorly my efforts were going, so I thought I'd give up. ...

Re: What, this old (new) thing?

An intensely pleasant vacation last week along with another trip down development memory lane the last few days has given rise to what I'm going to go ahead and call the end of this little tale. Like all good romances, it ends with puking. That leaves Emi and Misha, sitting in a...well, not a tree, ...

Re: Ask!

I don't remember if this has been asked or not but, what made you settle on Hisao having a heart condition as his disability? Was there other disabilitys that made it close to the final concept of Hisao that are worth mentioning and why did you pick arrhythmia over them? If my hazy memories are cor...

Re: What, this old (new) thing?

Yeah, when your whole job is to write stuff all week it is slightly harder to find the time/energy to write more stuff in your spare time.

It would take a lot to get my ass to Japan, I fear. That shit is costly.

Re: What, this old (new) thing?

I know you said the names are made up, but I can't help but picture Ryougi as a certain knife-wielding quasi-protagonist . Doesn't help that she matches the description. Man that Ryougi wears a dress. This Ryougi ain't down with that shit, at least not currently (but yes I might have played some MB...

Re: What, this old (new) thing?

New characters! Complete with names pulled out of my ass. Probably going to see if I can wrap this up next time, assuming there is a next time.

Re: What, this old (new) thing?

Picking up where we left off... Misha has her own experience with life-changing revelations--really just the one big one around the same time as puberty hit--but she doesn’t remember laughter being her response. More like feelings of guilt and shame (and a healthy helping of paranoia) which, even no...

Re: Ask!

Thank you for the answer I recieved a year or so ago in this thread. Another question. From what I've read in this thread (and I may well just be misinterpreting things), it seems that each route was created with at least a fair bit of independency. Did any of you ever find yourself constricted or ...

Re: What, this old (new) thing?

Her roommate may be Mai, but is she -that- Mai, Hisao's old friend? That would be one coincidence too many. No, I pulled the name out of my ass when I realized it was time to give her a name (to be honest, I'd forgotten about Hisao's friend entirely). The style is certainly... unique. In the beginn...

Re: What, this old (new) thing?

Me again. That's as far as I got. There's an itch to see how it develops, and maybe next time I'm stuck at work I'll add a little more--but my track record is pretty lousy when it comes to this sort of thing, so adjust expectations accordingly.

Re: What, this old (new) thing?

Mai may be slightly out of touch when it comes to the overall demeanor of her occasional roommate, but she’s sensitive enough to notice that Emi has brightened up significantly. Feeling slightly concerned that she’d somehow failed to notice her roommate’s dour mood until now, and because they are fr...
