Re: Developments (Post-Lilly Neutral End) - Chapter 35 up 3/
As always, thanks to all for the kind words! I rather thought this chapter was throwing any progress from the last one out of the window and moving everything back to the state of equilibrium... I have a feeling I know what you mean by this, and if so then you might want to wait....hmm, maybe 3-4 ch...

Re: Developments (Post-Lilly Neutral End) - Chapter 34 up 2/
Oh, excellent. It's like doing KS all over again but with new and wonderful things to discover. The juggling act, a polygon rather than a triangle: you're keeping a balance I would never be able to attempt myself. Heh...it's been an interesting ride, to be sure. Looking forward to reading Lilly-3 t...

Developments, Chapter 35
"Emi, can't it wait for..." Emi opens the door, then turns around and says, "Sorry, Hisao. I was supposed to be back ages ago." I'm about to try and object further, but the look in Emi's eye stops me. This isn't just her trying to dodge my concern; she's almost in a state of panic. I know if I push ...

Re: Yamaku Book Club
It's possible the Yamaku Foundation purchased and plotted the land without having any clue about the convergence. Considering that it isn't a school specialized for magical students, but rather one where the councils seek out potential mages, I'd guess its placement there was an accident. That seem...

Re: Yamaku Book Club
*nods* Same here, even given Misha's smaller role in Developments than in TD. I'll stick with just using them for words on which she places particular~ emphasisHelbereth wrote:It would get rather cluttered very quickly if I started using them for every word, especially in the case of Misha or Satoru...

Re: Yamaku Book Club
I've always presumed that it was used to show the places where Misha placed extra~ emphasis~ on a particular word. It's more artistically pleasing than ALL CAPS, and conveys a slightly different meaning anyway. It's probably an incorrect usage on my part, but I use a tilde ~ at the end of sentences...

Re: Yamaku Book Club
It doesn't look like you're even trying to replicate Misha's unique style of speech, To be honest, I don't really consider "~" to be a valid letter/bit of punctuation/whatever to be used in spoken dialogue. I don't complain about it when other people use it, because it seems to have become the norm...

One thing that may or may not be a hiccup:
Continuing to enjoy this! The long blonde girl

Re: After the Dream (PostLilly NeutralEnd) Lilly1 up 2014030
Heh...interesting to read this just as I'm bringing Lilly back to Yamaku in my own post-neutral-end fic. A quick note: I've always found it odd for someone who's trying to discover an artist to choose, as their first taste of their work, a piece that's entirely made up of their interpretations of o...

Another enjoyable vignette. That last line was a tad creepy, but understandably and believably creepy, so well done

I have to say that I've really enjoyed this so far. I was a bit leery of this based on your original...proof-of-concept, I suppose you'd call it, but this has me hooked now. I'm very much looking forward to seeing how you handle the vignettes for the other characters, and how it all winds up integra...

Re: Yamaku Book Club
Okay, my thoughts on Katawa Kijo . First off, I am going to skip any characterization issues vis-a-vis KS itself due to the release date of this story. Within the story, my favorite character was definitely Kenji, who's very well written and whose arc showed the most development. The magical setting...

Additionally: "Oh bother," Mutou muttered under his breath before he shook his head. Now you've gone and made me replace my long-standing assumption that Mutou would sound like Ben Stein with that of Alton Brown. Oh, bother... And now I'm hearing him as Sterling Holloway...it's rather fun :) . Wher...
