No, and one's likely to get Cooked for trying.

Re: Katawa Seiyū has begun!

Oh damn, I was convinced they had given up. This is great, but I feel its going to take an incredibly long time to fully complete it. The sheer amount of different choices within the routes (Especially Rins) is going to take a huge amount of time. I suspect the dude voicing hisao to have voice stra...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Now Reading: On the Couch)

Agreed. I feel like the Rin story has the most substance to it. However, I wonder if it wouldn't be best to cover these in the order they were written (since each builds on the last) and take on Shizune's first. Well, if we're covering all of them, then yes. I was under the impression we were picki...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Now Reading: On the Couch)

Agh, tough pick, he writes all of his characters so well. I think Rin is the most fun to discuss, though. Agreed. I feel like the Rin story has the most substance to it. Re: After the Dream—Others (Rika done, Mutou3 up 20140506)

Definitely enjoying this, even if it still feels a tad...unsettled. Your Mutou reminds me of one of my old astronomy professors (a path I still sometimes regret not taking) so I can definitely relate to him. Admittedly, I find his conversations with Goro to be the highlights of these chapters, but t...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Now Reading: Weekend at Hisao's)

Alright, enough of the main stuff, lets get to the side stories. I'll fire these off 1 a day, so tomorrow round this time the next one will begin. FIrstly: On the Couch – Sidestory by themocaw (completed, 2.966 words) Oh, we're covering those separately? I've always pretty much read those in-line, ...

Re: Least favorite girl?

Does this possibly least favourite girl have any good writing in the medium-to-large range? For my money, the best Rin stories are the ones by cosmicmustache, but the only one that's of any length is Osmosis, which isn't really about Rin per se -- which is quite appropriate when one thinks about it...

Heh...good writing excuses a lot, but the...incestuousness of all this is starting to get a bit ridiculous :) . Next installment: Sae turns out to be Hanako's aunt who had been staying with her family, and when the fire happened she was away to attend her husband's funeral. No no… I wouldn't do tha...

Re: Kagami Pseudo-Route [Updated 5/1]

Hmmm...you really do like torturing your characters, don't you? This was a very realistic, very powerful chapter, from start to finish. Kagami remains a great character, but I also thought the way you handled Hisao's internal struggle over wanting to ask her about her results was excellent. W...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Now Reading: Weekend at Hisao's)

Well, guess I'll be the first to dive in once again :) . So, I suppose I'll start off with: I wonder if it will hold up... Well, KS was my first VN, and WaH was therefore not just my first KS fanfiction, but my first VN-related fanfiction, period. Thus, my view of it, from its place in my headcanon ...

Heterochromia in never a bad thing ;) unless it actually has some genuine downsides in which case it is a bad thing I quite like her scruffy hair. I dunno why, but I likey. Well for me it's not a problem because mines congenial ( genetic). But some can be from some pretty bad stuff like Tumors, inf...

Nope, it's not. Never really meant to imply that it was -- more that it's what some people seem to think is Rinnish (evidence of which is in this very thread), which I thought would be obvious from its description. Silly me :| .

Re: What scene made you "cry" the most

A few thoughts on life after Lilly's epilogue: Lilly has some pretty serious abandonment issues (witness how she demands that Hisao stay with her forever) and repression issues (witness how she does this while knowing her family wants her to move to Scotland). Once she's chosen Hisao, especially to...

Well, each play-through is very short (like, 10 minutes), but it's different every time :) .
And good point with the goldfish... gosh Rin is great.
Yes. Yes she is.
