Kenji dialogue, as written by dewelar. And hell hasn't even frozen over yet. Hey now! Kenji's had lines in this fic! Yeah, I can safely say that I won't, as interesting as it might be for him to split up from [girl x] many years later and go running off to whatever atelier Rin is living in a...

No one will get that reference.... Is there a specific "cement sandals" reference, or is the cement just for the weight, dear? They're for the weight. The reference was to the Ed McMahon quote. Oh, the "You are correct, sir!" thing...I guess I'm no match for Carnac :|. I'll toss my Threepence into ...

There's a difference between a hockey puck and cooking it through, though... I want my burgers cooked through, but you can do this without hockey pucking them or destroying the flavor. Of course, steak tartare is a dish that exists, so... I like a good medium-well burger, too (well done is definite...

Re: Developments (Post-Lilly Neutral End) - Ch.50 posted 9/1

Thanks to all new and continuing readers for the additional outpouring of kind words! What's interesting is that Hisao has seemed to fallen into the same trap that Lilly has. Given his reactions in past chapters to strife with Emi and Hanako, I willing to guess part of his indecisiveness -- the wind...

Re: The Library Anniversarie Collection

This was a nice little one-shot. My only real complaint is that the ground it treads feels somewhat well-worn, but it has enough warmth to make it feel more like settling into your familiar, comfortable easy chair by the fire than tossing and turning on a threadbare old futon in a cold basement :) .

I'm not quite certain what you mean by that...
To clarify, I was talking about external factors, not her psychosocial issues.

Re: Sisterhood: True Edition (Hanako Epilogue) (Completed)

Learning to be part of a network of people and feeling comfortable with it would arguably be a rather significant gain in its own right, especially for Hanako, whose limitations were always more social than physical. This is a fair point, and one I probably could have mentioned. I just think perhap...

Re: Sisterhood: True Edition (Hanako Epilogue) (Completed)

Okay, now that some reactions are starting to trickle in, I will post my thoughts. When I found out this was happening (during our exchanges about my use of Miss Yumi, I asked Guest Poster about the possibility of doing a chapter from her PoV, which led to the revelation that this was in the works),...

So, I came across this story, and honestly with how many chapters it had I was under the impression it was complete, and I found myself so engrossed into it that I just couldn't stop reading!! Thanks! It's always good to hear from new folks finding this story and enjoying it. Actually, I'm a bit su...

As always, thanks for all the kind words, and thanks to all who have taken time out from reading Sisterhood (myself included) to grace this story with their attention . c. Lilly's ' Who am I? ' immediately reminded me of Jean Valjean, and stuff associated with that. Hmmm...come to think of it,...

Re: Random KS Discussion

So, how does everyone think the Satous voted in today's referendum on Scottish independence? Akira for, Lilly against. The former likes the idea of independence against the odds; the latter is all for a stable relationship when two parties are geographically united. :) I also expect that Hiroyuki i...

Developments, Chapter 50

"No, Hisao, I can't do that. I'm not going to let you push her away over a little misunderstanding. I did that to you once, and it hurt us both. I can't let that happen to her, or to you. So," Emi says, closing her eyes, "it's better if we just stop talking about this, okay?" "But that's not..." "Ju...

Re: Guilty [Two Shorts, Emi] Updated 9-17-2014

I like these quite a bit. I agree with AntonSlavik020 that I enjoyed the first one more, but both were good. If I had to point to something, I'd say that the first one was more suited to the third-person narrative style that you're using than the second one is. Anyway, I'll look forward to whatever ...
