Re: If you witnessed someone bullying Hanako...
Holy crap. Ah, wow. I never thought I'd meet someone with that sort of experience, even over the internet. I absolutely don't want to pry, but have you told your story somewhere? If so, I'd be interested in knowing more, just because... Well, lets be honest, part of it is just the perverse interest...

I'm still new here so I don't know many of the in-forum jokes. I think that pic is a comic strip of somehow mixing chocolate with sex ritu...

Re: Blindness
What's always struck me as odd was how in movies, tv shows, and even VN's, blind women as always portrayed as these ethereal, almost angellic creatures. Never quite understood that. Lilly's a prime example. Lilly is neither ethereal or angelic... O.o I agree on the non-ethereal part. Man, if she di...

I played KS spoiled, and I still enjoy it. Maybe, it's because that you can't be spoiled when it comes to what really matters: real life.

Re: FDA approves new "blindness curing" glasses
Ultimately, I will still use texting as a primary way of communicating with deaf individuals, unless I have to interact with alot of them.
And I take compliments to that troll comment, especially if you think I'm putting effort into trolling.

Re: Shizune Arc
For one thing, you've both developed psychic powers and can tell what part of a written statement someone else is reading. Unless you're doing it sentence by sentence (aka as slow as possible). For the other, this whole thing came about because of text communication's inability to convey emotion an...

Re: Blindness
Heightened senses for someone who is deprived of one sense is pretty much par of the course. It's a compensating mechanism the body uses.
There is a difference between blind from birth and blindness which happened later in life.

Morse code for Shizune, and body language is very hard to fake, as it's a product of your subconscious mind.

Re: Shizune Arc
How does she know which line you were writing with "serious" body language and which with "joking around" body language? Do you physically effect emotions while someone else, hearing or deaf, is reading something you wrote? Body language is not a product of the conscious mind; it takes a lot of tra...

Both ways. As you're writting, you can have a whole set of non-verbal communication coming from your body. As she's reading, you can also observe the subtle movements of her body.

Re: FDA approves new "blindness curing" glasses
Shizune would probably consider getting her ears fixed, I assume anyone lacking a sense would like the opportunity to gain it http://limpingchicken.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/tdg-misshear-mdaigle-b.jpg A clash of ideals is what I see in Shizune's working life. She want others to fit her way, and h...

Re: Shizune Arc
Besides intonation, there is still body language. Hell, it may be hard to read sometimes, but it's there for anyone. Besides, for the "I'll kill you" scenario, if I want to kill someone, why will I want to give a warning? However, reading body language - subconscious actions - is a better indicator...

Re: The Ultimate Dude Magnet
Meiko. She looks good now, but just imagine her at Emi's age. Track shed must of had a single-file line circling the track two times over. Just kidding. But I guess apples shouldn't fall far from the tree? I get a more devious aura from Emi's mother than her daughter. You know: the high school prom...
