Re: A wave of Deus Ex Machina washes over Yamaku...
Emi's issues had never really been her disability, but losing her father. Hanako will potentially benefit the most, not to mention the lines of potential suitors. Hisao will no doubt go "The bastards who may tease her in the past are now attracted to her like bees to honey." Lily and Shizune will pr...

Re: Can't stop thinking KS when I watch something else
Cue the classic hallucination of the older girls placing a hand on the full length mirror, their younger selves touching (and looking) back innocently. Then they go "How did it go so damn wrong?" *sigh* Sounds like my life. But yes, definately. :( Hopefully, they will have themselves as older, wise...

Re: You have been playing too much KS when...
Some tropes can be deciphered at face-value. Assuming you even know Seinfield as a comedy, you will know that it was first aired ages ago. (20 years?)

Re: You have been playing too much KS when...
How do you not like the beatles Very easily. Their music isn't enjoyable. And they're overrated, as you've just proven. People who didn't get to them first will have the Seinfield is Unfunny moment, cause so many groups copied their styles after them. They were active 50 YEARS ago. That's some era ...

Re: Can't stop thinking KS when I watch something else
Shizune with long hair as a kid: Hmmm... And Hanako. What happened later was mood whiplash. Well, theres no reason they couldn't be normal, cute little girls. Shizune decided to cut her hair as she got older just so she wouldn't have to bother with it. Short hair was more efficient, and she had mor...

Re: Can't stop thinking KS when I watch something else
I keep running into artwork that has more than a passing resemblance to KS characters, so I just say screw it and add it to my KS art directory like they're official images. For example: Shizune Hakamichi: Age 10 Hanako Ikezawa: Age 8. shortly before her accident. :( "I reject your reality and subs...

Re: Emi Ibarazaki's past encounters...
Initially, Panda suggested an Emi-Hanako idea. Since that one was slightly harder to set up, I throw in Miki-Hanako, since Miki-Emi is the main thread. Are you writing an Emi/Hanako friendship fic? Because I was legitmately thinking of getting around to that. I had a title and everything. "Running ...

No, it was a screen. Just cropped a bit small.

Re: What hurts the most?
Aye. Must be my bad eyesight. Hanako's cap resembled what the street teens will wear in the 1900s - 1920s.

Re: What hurts the most?
No, it's not this particular cap. The screens were Lucy already in (or slowly enraging into) the "Lucy" persona. Or could be that the screens cropped the hat so that I didn't see the whole thing.

Her lime-green cap in her civilian attire. The shape reminds me of Hanako's.

Re: Hanako & Lilly conversation ? (spoilers)
The fishing trip is probably the only time when Lily had a constant confused look on her. It's a change.

Re: Hanako & Lilly conversation ? (spoilers)
Hopefully, Hisao doesn't smell the same as Hanako. But, it's still funny. Again, that would come after Hanako's misunderstanding has been cleared up.pandaphil wrote:The real reason Hanako left.
