It really boils down to how well you know the stuff that's in the pills. "Is this drug potentially addictive?" Knowing is indeed half the battle.

Hisao: Sakurai Takahiro
Hanako: Noto Mamiko
Emi: Hirano Aya

I would think that it is difficult to raise a dog while living at the dorms. Guide dogs are usually quite large in size, and space is limited.

Also, having a dog will not add much to the story but will mean some work to draw it.

Sleeping pills must be prescribed with great caution, due to the risk of addiction. I would think that doctors who want to sort out the insomia once and for all will find out the root cause and prescribe accordingly. Sleeping pills only treat symptoms.

I'm sure it's not canon that Hanako took sleeping pills.

Except maybe Shizune. If Lecter knows signing, all bets are off. Of course, with the pen he probably can....

Tell me about it. There are so many times I could snark at the misplaced bravado. If the girl ever meets Hannibal Lecter, he'll break her more easily than a hot knife cuts through butter.

I can imagine Emi and Shizune being totally radical moms who only step in before (and maybe even after) their kids had triggered WWIII by hacking into the security systems of the major powers.
