Re: Lily's good ending
Btw, why did this thread about Lilly turn into a thread about Shizune? I have to do something about this... :| I choose you, Silentcook! :P Fuck yeah, Shizune bros successfully hijacked the thread, next step: Shizune's Broken Heart Club. Well, we could always start that. Her CG for her Bad End darn...

Re: Lily's good ending
I suspect Shizune simply doesn't have the patience to hold entire conversations in written text...it IS a slow-paced form of communciation Indeed. I sometimes use it to talk to my Japanese friend and it's really slow compared to talking. ^^' She has to compromise somewhere. I mean: That is how peop...

Re: Lily's good ending
Lip reading isn't exactly a good substitute for being able to hear words. Even an experienced lip-reader probably has to strain to pick up more than 50% of what people say. It's far from the fluent form of communication media pretend it to be. That said, I suspect Shizune simply doesn't have the pa...

Re: Lily's good ending
The sad thing is that ultimately, she knows that she has this flaw, but she doesn't know how to deal with it. I was wondering about what is out of the norm for her as a character when I realised that she can't lip-read. Lip reading to a sighted deaf-mute is bread and butter stuff. Combined with her ...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club
When I read beyond Hisao's inner talking, I realised that the game has a premise which relatively few people knew about, or would care to notice. EA Games has a slogan which is fitting here: "Challenge everything".

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club
Being sad is like having a cut on your index finger, Being depressed is like not having a hand. Hanako and Emi have some problems, but are not depressed, Hanako has a small bout of depression on her route, it lasts some 5 days or so. But Emi is not even close to depression, if you think she is depr...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club
The way I see it, her drive and ambition is a way to escape the issue of her father's death. The moment she doesn't run, the nightmares come back. Something is not right somewhere. It may not be depression, but it's definitely not all sunshine. Its just sadness bro, it happens when someone you love...

Re: Lily's good ending
When talking about that ideal, many people forgot that steel has to be in somewhere, although some men do want you to forget that. Cool to friends, harsh to enemies. Right now, Shizune is just harsh to people in general. Her hard head is the trait being played up. She acknowledges it, but honest to...

How is Hanako not depressed? Emi hides hers pretty well.Tomate wrote:Nothing more sexy than a very sad lady?pandaphil wrote:As much as I love the women in KS, I wish they'd had a character who was suffering from depression. For me, that would have really struck home.
By the way, Hisao is the depressed one.
