Re: The "feels" bazaar.

Thats whats really great about this game. Yes you can fall in love with one special girl, but at the same time its impossible to really dislike any of them. So thankfully you don't end up with fans arguing about "Which girl is better". They all are.

Re: What hurts the most?

Yeah comparing real people to an idealized fictional one is just doomed to failure. Loving a person for themselves feels so much better, and they'll quickly become the most wonderful person in the world to you.

Re: A Story with a Cat

A really sweet and sad story. Many thanks.

Seems like we get so few peeks at Hanako's childhood. I really treasure the brief snippets we do get.

Re: Dissapointed with Hanako's Arc

That did seem to be a point that came up several time sin her arc. That Hisao needed to get his own house in order before he tried to help 'fix' hers. An interestign question to think about. Do you think so many of us would be attracted to Hanako is she were to magically get over her shyness and bec...

No kidding. And not even parents to support her through it all. :(

Just another reason to want to love her.

Though you could also say that Lilly's arc helps motivate him to work toward a definite future for himself.

Re: Dissapointed with Hanako's Arc

Indeed. She needed something to give their relationship a jolt to push them beyond friendship to being something more. And this was certainly the way to go about it. Its just a good thing that Hisao wasn't the "Love'em and leave'em" sort of person. And yeah, it was painful for her, but she's endured...

Re: If Hanako's scars looked like this...

Probably a mix. Her back and side look like they may have been third. But her head and arm were probably closer to second.

This one makes me think of Lilly leaving, and Rin's neutral ending.

Re: What do you think Hanako's funeral will be like?

I expect a small private ceremony attended by her children, her grandchildren, maybe her husband if hes still around, as well as Lilly and her family, and everyone else who loved her during her long, happy life.

So get out of here with this emo death crap. :x

Re: If Hanako's scars looked like this...

As soon as I read the title of the page I thought, "Wait, is this a real life Hanako?", even when it was obvious that it was something much sadder and worse, being real and all. http://www.sankakucomplex.com/2013/04/11/girl-95-burned-trying-to-save-ill-mother/ (Warning: GRAPHIC images and also NSFW...

Re: Your "true ending" and/or OTP

Although you have to give her some credit in Lilly's arc for reaching out to the girls in the school paper and later deciding to travel. That's a pretty huge step for her. She grows in both arcs, only in different ways.

Re: Beside the Dying Fire

^ Yeah, I've been kinda luke-warm about the tv show lately (probably another side-effect of KS's) But the game was one of the best things about 2012. There were some epic feels there.

Cried like a baby at the ending. :(

Re: If Hanako's scars looked like this...

You know Xanatos, "seeing something in someone's eyes" is just a saying. Don't take it completely literally. What it really means is taking a look at the face and interpreting the non-verbal cues they give off. And yes, some people can read stuff from someone's expression. Personally I can't...I'm ...
