Re: The Music of Katawa Shoujo
It really is a first-rate musical score. I'd go so far as to say its the equal of many AAA titles. Certainly more emotional than anything else that comes to mind.

Re: About Hanakos bad ending
Welcome to the board sir. Nah, you're not a bad person. Just hit the rewind button and get the good ending. History can be changed. :) I actually cheated a little to avoid the bad endings. Mind you, I usually chose the good route, but if in doubt, I consulted the flow chart. Because I just know that...

Re: Aspergers' and Katawa Shoujo
Welcome Dillon! Yeah, don't mind Xan. He's the official 'character' around here. Really enjoyed your post. Sounds like you're doing it the right way, and letting KS improve your life. That's what its meant for. And don't be sad about not being in a relationship. 15 is still relatively young, and if ...

Re: What else made you cry?
I cried when my pet wolf fell in a pool of lava in Minecraft. I only cried for 20 minutes, but It was still rather sad Mine got blown up by creepers. I'd found a small cave and wanted to hollow it out into a home. The entrance was only 1x1 so I had to push him down through it. Soon as I did, I peek...

Yeah, I admit I felt like crap all evening when I got my first wolf and accidentally killed it while fighting off a couple of zombies.

Re: Career Day
Parents do seem pretty clueless in this story. Most seem more intent on shuffling their kids off to some special school rather than giving them the help and support they need. And that's just depressing. Emi's mom is cool, but even she admits she just hopes her daughter grows out of her distancing ...

Re: What else made you cry?
I think I've shed more tears in the last month than I ever remember before. Not sure whether I'm overly sensitive after KS, or if I've just been seeking out more emotional music and stories just to keep the feels coming.

Re: Career Day
It may sound rather psyco-babblish, but she just needs help finding herself. Figuring out who she is as a person and where she fits in. Thats something most teenagers have to go through. Except most have some sort of support system. Makes you wonder what her parents were like to let her get to this ...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Discussion
Nicely written review sir. (*pssst* its spelled "weird", not "wired")
I got my first exposure to KS through JewWario too. Though I have a bit of a grudge against him for not mentioning it was a free downloadable in his review. If I'd known I might have gotten into this months ago.

I think we've had this discussion before. Painful History is pretty hard, but its Innocence and Comfort that get me going every time. But really, there's something about piano solos... http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=x20TtbnUJ3E&feature=endscreen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxRIxovS7nQ http:/...
