Re: Your first ending?

I got Emi's good ending the first time. At the beginning, Hisao takes it easy by not exercising for two days, and the nurse chastises him for it. The message I took from that was "Don't take it easy." Xanatos, it makes me uncomfortable that you lay all the blame on the women. On Emi's route, at lea...

Re: Design your character!

Okay, I've redone her profile. Even changed her name. :) . I kept the calcium deficiency problem since that seemed like such a bizarre aliment. So poor Tet has had quite the string of bad luck in her life. I figured that was bound to have an effect on a person, so I've made her into something of a w...

Re: The Gallery of Original Characters

Wow. Really glad I can return to this thread without the prospect of being the only one participating. First, I guess I'll comment on some old posts; Originally she had haemophilia, but it turns out thats so rare in women that its pretty unlikely. Haemophilia is rare in the general population of fe...

Re: The most likely to become an emotionally abusive mother?

As we all know, the leading heroines of Katawa Shoujo have undergone great traumas and experienced a great deal of pain. I don't think any of them would become physically abusive... however! It's a well-known fact that many emotionally abusive parents lived rotten childhoods themselves. Do you thin...

I agree. Whats going through her head and why she locks herself away on her birthday is something I've been struggling to figure out as well.

Re: Katawa Shoujo's creators are monsters

I played this game and I loved it. But goddamn motherfucking Rin's path. I NEVER ASKED TO FEEL THIS WAY! :( Welcome to our world sir. Trust me, you'll survive, and with any luck be a better person for it. Personally I thing the dev's are wizards bent on controlling all of our minds. How else would ...

Re: The "thank you 4LS" thread.

Hello Four Leaf Studios. My name is Kris. I don't know if you're reading this, or ever will, but all I can say is thank you. These stories were all very enjoyable, and though they take a long time, they are all very touching. I love how this can show that no matter how disabled someone is, they can...

Keep in mind we're talking about a Japanese college here. Things are bound to be a bit more civilized. At least I hope so.

Re: For a Thousand Years

It comes up here every once in a while (I posted it once myself, back in The Day). Very good, very feelsy, but alas, the song is from Twilight . True enough. And that's the one downside to all this. Its still a beautiful song though. So screw Twilight. To me this is a KS song. :) Here's a nice litt...

Re: What else made you cry?

I'll freely admit that I teared up on the Shizune bad ending. When you walk away, and leave her all alone. You could feel her heartbreak, and her hopelessness. The worst part was that she didn't even blame you. She blamed herself entirely, and it wasn't even completely her fault. She reached out on...

Re: The most likely to become an emotionally abusive mother?

I can't see any of them becoming abusive , at least by common definitions. I do think there's a real chance of Emi, Shizune, or Rin becoming emotionally distant (though they'd take very different paths to get there). That can mess up a kid, but can it really be called abuse? I'm not sure it can: it...
