Re: What do you think of Nomiya?
In my experience with my own bullies they only back down only when you show yourself as one target not to be fucked with and pushed too far. Truth. One of the worst I had finally got himself in line when after calmly enduring his bullshit through yet another class... Soon as the bell rang, I jumped...

Re: What do you think of Nomiya?
Nah, Jigoro is a bully. Those types tend to back down pretty fast. It's cute how people still peddle that line in this day and age. "Bullies back down if you stand up to them" is an unreliable cliche at best , speaking as someone who was heavily bullied before and after that advice, and then became...

Re: The "feels" bazaar.
Like I said before, I already saw parts of it, and saw the pictures too. I think I've seen enough. I didn't see the whole thing, but do I need to? Yes. You do need to see the whole scene. Only seeing bits and pieces of the scene is like reading a book and only picking the parts you like. It detract...

I have no idea what is wrong with your system, but for me both hitting the PM button under his Avatar and adding the name manually work fine. Well, I'll try it again... Edit: Okay, 4th try worked. Huh. Back on topic, found this on FB. Full size version is at http://a.pomf.se/bkvdbv.png Panda not to...

Re: Healthy habits you picked up after playing KS
Playing Katawa Shoujo made me realise how much of my life I'd compromised away just because I was afraid of failure. I was willing to settle on a career path I didn't like, surrounded by people who I didn't like because I was convinced if I dared to dream I would fail, and I was so paralysed by the...

Re: The Music of Katawa Shoujo
I have a slight thing for bondage, what? Is that so wrong? XD Ah, well that's slightly less worrying than what I thought, which was that you found the idea of Hannibal Lecter slightly arousing. No, Mr. Lecter is not arousing, but a hot girl wearing that type of mask is very much evocative of ...

Re: Heights
You'd also have to take into consideration the fact that their sprites don't fully show their legs.
I do have an idea though:
If Shizune and Misha are the average height for a woman in Japan, why not use them as the base-line and modify the other sprites accordingly?
But that's just my 2cents.

Re: KS helps angsty teen from Martha's Vineyard
My good man/woman, he's from New England. THAT IS the style, and body posturing for about Eighty-percent of us. Geez. And here I had an image in my mind of New Englanders (outside of Boston, that is) being plaid-flannel-wearing rugged outdoorsy types, sometimes with hunting caps with the ear flaps ...

Re: KS helps angsty teen from Martha's Vineyard
But take a note of advice from me: the look's not happening. Shave. Wear your hat straight or not at all. Ditch the affectation (scarf). I have no idea if you chose that pose, but if you did, know that habitual self-satisfied smirking is off-putting (if it was just a fluke of photography catching a...

Re: KS helps angsty teen from Martha's Vineyard
This makes me wonder if I'm the only one who didn't react with disgust after reading the name. :| You mean "Driftwood", or "Erin Sullivan"? Come to think of it, isn't Erin a girl's name? Aaron being the boy's version? Erin is both, but more commonly a female name. Aaron is a completely different na...
