Re: The "feels" bazaar.
I never considered myself a reading person either except when I was a kid. KS changed all that and I'm glad I read it.

Re: What is your story canon?
Everyone has their own canon, and that's fine with me. My canon is Hanako's good end followed by Sisterhood. I'm sure that's the case for some others as well.

Re: Hanako's presents
Of course I recognize evil, or how else would I know to avoid it? I'll go with Vash's quote. "But I still want to believe in the power of the heart, a heart that sees the sin." On the orphanage note... that's pretty sad. One of the biggest things that can get me down is imagining someone else's pain...

Re: Hanako's presents
I don't agree with that. One need not soil themselves with the evil in this world to deal with all situations. Hanako herself is shown to have some cynicism and dislike of people. Hopefully that never grows into hate, because hate burns the good qualities in a person fast. But we're talking about so...

Re: Hanako's presents
On that thought and note, it's a shame she was never adopted. I'm sure her emotional development would have been quite different had she been with loving foster parents. But on another note, I'm attracted to girls with childlike qualities. I've got that sort of thing going on with myself too. Some m...

Re: Hanako's presents
Well it does make sense that she can just borrow books from the library. Since that nice back corner with the beanbags is a comfortable spot for her, she just curls up with a library book and reads. "Life of Pi" was her own book though, I wonder how she got it...

Shizune teaching Hanako some chess moves? Not after "Chess Tactics for Champions." I can see Hanako laying the law down on Shizune after that, now where is that one fan art...

Re: Rins "problem"
Rin is the kind of girl that you have to steal the words out of her mouth. It's not very difficult to understand her, really. I myself can speak in complex impossible-to-deciper riddles if I want to. I usually do it as a sign of frustration. I use it as my very nice way of telling people to screw of...

Re: What would your disability be?
I think that with asthma, some epilepsy in my childhood, and a legally blind left eye, I'd probably qualify for Yamaku. Most likely because of the asthma. The other two don't really hinder me much. Haven't had an epileptic seizure since I was... 12, I think? In any case, I can pass as normal enough....

Yeah, Shizune has actually grown on me a bit since the beginning. I can safely say she's pretty much my "third place" after Hanako and Lilly.

I never touched WoW, so I don't get those references. I have played some other games though. I tried quite a handful.

Re: What scene made you "cry" the most
What is up with people repressing their "feels"? Man, for real. I cried openly and it felt so good to let all that out. We're not supposed to suppress our emotions, or things that bring them out. People act like they're a thing to be scared of and run away from, like you have to "recover" from them ...

Re: Dissapointed with Hanako's Arc
So, this conversation has been having it's ups and downs but I think generally I got my point across. I wouldn't go so far as to call anyone a waste, they just had a purpose to fulfill, a reason for being here and they just are failing their mission. Walking around with bitterness in your heart solv...

Re: You have been playing too much KS when...
I've been listening to nothing but the KS songs at work for over five months now. Sometimes I'll whistle along. Don't care what my coworkers think of it when they hear me. I just have that kind of relaxed job where I can work and do my own thing sort of. I would say I don't play enough KS nowadays. ...
