Worst 'meta-ending' maybe?

Don't see the point really.

Hisao is as Hisao does. :P

Re: Katawa Shoujo Achievements

For non-english speakers that can still be quite an achievement. Hell, even for english speakers, as I've often been told by acquaintances.

Re: Is Rin's route worth?

If you're looking for a typical romance story [...] you're better off with Lilly or such. ...I adore the attitude you just took towards Lily's route. Don't get me wrong - Lilly's route is a most splendid romance story! But...it is pretty typical, it does use the most of the familiar trope...

Re: Is Rin's route worth?

If you're looking for a typical romance story, no. Rin's route is the last thing that would be worth it then - you're better off with Lilly or such. If you're genuinely open to anything that might happen, don't expect anything in particular or think anything specific should happen within it - yes. R...

Re: Which ending(s) do you consider the worst?

I don't know where people get the suicide thing from I've never been sure of this either. Is it just Sae's husband, and people assume that's supposed to be a foregone parallel with Rin? I don't see what else it could be, but if every brilliant artist were eventually headed towards suicide worldwide...

Re: The best written route?

I like dryness for the most part personally. Makes the wet all the more worth it later on (both when it comes to tears and the other kind of wet).

Re: Manly Picnic (worst end?)

It didn't shock me so much as pleasantly surprised me. And I laughed my head off till its conclusion as well. I like how Kenji also gives away his innermost secret during his drunken ramble (that he is anti-feminist because his one sexual experience with a woman made him ultra-paranoid of them). And...

Re: The best written route?

I like how there doesn't seem to be a clear consensus. It isn't for most of times on this forums, and that's the magnificence of Katawa Shoujo. Well...to be fair there have been several 'best route' and 'best girl' polls on these forums and in them the general feeling I got was: Lilly 1st, Hanako 2...

Probably more accurate to say it's a place filled with people, who rarely had their feelings acknowledged IRL.

So they come here to find that acknowledgment instead.

Re: What to change

Well, my dad beat me up when I was young, but some years past and he said that "I want you to have a bad time like I did so that you can grow strong like me" And being an open minded person, I put some thought into this and I realized that what he did took alot of courage, and was problab...

Re: What to change

Okay. Given that you identify with Hisao's thoughts so much...have you considered what he thinks of himself in Hanako's good ending? One of the best parts of that moment (for me at least) is that Hisao realizes that he himself had been wounded through his forceful relocation to Yamaku and that in ma...

Re: Preconceptions about the routes

I was searching for "suicide" and "killed himself" so "taking his own life" fell through the cracks^^° Yap, recently had that one meself. It happens. I've been thinking less on my preconceptions of the routes as in: 'What I expected would happen and what plot tw...
